To download whatsapp on nokia xl follow these steps.
1. first of all download the older version of whatsapp v211238, then install it, do registration.
2. After registration whatsapp will work for some time(in my phone it worked for one log in), then it will show 'whatsapp not supported'.
3. Uninstall this whatsapp.
4. Now download new version WHATSAPP+ v211301 from whatsapp-plus.net.
5. It will ask for mobile no. put your same number, and it will start working.
6. Enjoy.
7. Nokia xl is branded budget phone for medium daily use, i like it.

xl is support whats app 5.8 or higher you will only get it through now from vendors i get my own whatsapp installed from cgc qatar local dealer for nokia now it is working fine fully satisfied

As per I know, Nokia XL users with firmware version
1.1.1.0 are facing this issue.
But some other users with v1.1.0.6 doesn't have this
issue.
