i buy this smartphone 1 year ago.we can install custom rom on it like samsung galaxy s5 mini rom,lollipop rom we can also install google playstore and google play services on it throug nokia x manager. good phone but its ram is only 768 mb otherwise very good phone.

this phone can support some android apps...download 1mobile market and from that 1 mobile market u can get the app which are available in play store....and whatsapp is available in 1mobile market for nokia xl...i m using this phone from last 1 and a half year the phone experience is not very good its ok....not worth of its money u can get better phone in this price range....i liked only the camera of this phone..........so my advice will be to not buy this phone

Gameloft games and another hd huge size games canot support in this phone dead trigger 2 did not support in this device bad os how to break this problem i love gameloft asphalt 8 ,modern combat4,5, recently automaticaly gameloft games stop in this device

It is android bt it is nt a google android. It is Android supported device from Microsoft. Its performance is good as according to its price. M using this phn since 1 year, no lag, battery life is also better than other androids of this range. Ialso have a windows phn (Lumia 730) which is totaly diff from Nokia xl. Nokia xl support all android apps which doesn't required google services. Bt my windows phn doesn't support any app which Is not downloaded from its own store (just like apple)

Anyone who bought a windows phone and now keeps complaining that it doesnt support google playstore is some simpleton idiot. Go to marketplace for any app you want to install on windows. Its a windows phone, you dont expect android to support apple store, how can you expect windows to support play store????? Yes, i am a huge android and apple fan and now trying windows out. Let us see how our indian friends the indians (since almost all software developers for windows are indian and all windows come with heavy indian input) came up with in a windows devise. Been a huge fan of windows since childhood. Those complaining it doesnt support google (its a pity because i am a big goggle fan too) dont know or understand much about the difference between an android phone and a windows mobile.
