After a positive experience with the Lumia 520, I thought Nokia was on the mend. I went on to buy another Nokia, the Nokia XL, which is a downright disappointment. (1) both WhatsApp and WhatsApp+ cannot be installed; (2) many frequently-used apps are not available on the Nok Store; (3) boot up was exceedingly slow. This is a truly unfortunate experience which has shattered my confidence in Microsoft+Nokia, which for a while, was building up again with the Lumia 520.

This phone is not fit to call as Android compatible phone as all the apps cannot be operated so it is not recommended. NOKIA should either update the OS or they must not fool the people saying "Your Fastlane to Android Apps: Access the World of Android Apps". Whats App, SBI Freedom, IRCTC & Subway Surfer game which are the favorite apps now-a-days & it cannot work on this mobile then whats the use of purchasing a Rs. 11k mobile.

I purchased Nokia XL and returned next day because it's interface look like not actual android. Secondly it doesn't join play group if you install it by super user then it's warranty will be void, WhatsApp will not install easily. I was not satisfied from graphics. No doubt Nokia brand is big but this phone need to more improvement.

Hi,my dear friends . Plz don't get nokia xl mobile .
Nokia xl mobile have a display problem. I got is mobile on 21/06/2014. After 4th days mobile display is problem, For random display. Then I goto the nokia service care . They change my mobile display only . Not give replacement. But now also same problem.for diplay have a some lines comes .its a randam display. I don't like this mobile .

My requirements are only few like good camera(front and rear as I mostly have pics do skype calling), it should support few basic apps (like whatsapp, Viber, Facebook,documents reader, Instagram, twitter), fast browsing, should support HD videos and the display of 5 inch, slim mobile. I won't play games much. I ll be greatful if you suggest any phones which consist the above mentioned requirements and under 10,000. Thanks

hello all,
after i always user of nokia and dissapointed latly about n95 and e7 cause of really bad quality, i like this phone, it a really cool smartphone with all necessary needs, fast reacting good for typing with sausage fingers,menu up down scrolling much better than left right..cause used from windows. price with 120 euro phantastic.. i hope quality of usb and screen better than the others..not broken after 1 year..hope nokia can make it to samsung again..

[deleted post]in nokia XL running 130 MB song of 1080 in MX player. it dint work. so ihave changed some settings in MX player it worked!!. but in the middle the audio stops n breaks for 5-6 sec's.. but the vedio continues with out any disturbance. there some lag in audio jus check it out.

But I read an opinion here that with MX player we can even... moreram 768 roughly u'll get 630~ and in that OS runs at 300~ n in another 300~MB of ram for user.. how many good games u can play? n what abt the back ground apps that run which consumes another few MB's of RAM while u play games . not only that the processor is slow when compared to the Lumia 630. processor plays a main role in smooth runing of big apps. u get dissapointed when ur phone stucks. just compare XL with Micromax colors(newly released). if u are shy abt logo of micromax jus cover it up some safty pouches or phone gaurds. Price always resembles the #BRAND.. like Nokia BRAND stands for quality.

But I read an opinion here that with MX player we can even... morenot sujested XL. don't get tempted on seeing the features. it is a trail piece from nokia. if u r good at computer skills in understanding the OS and it's working nature u have to root the device. once if u root the device ur warranty is gone. it means u r no more a nokia customer. it just kinda playing with ur phone. n in this case XL is preferale. changing the entire OS. customising the ROM. i think all these things r tough in some cases there r some possibilities to hang n not ur device may not work r boot.

I was happy to use it but on the 3 rd night while playing games suddenly phone gets off and now its not getting started... Only the sound of the on tone can be seen and heard.. Any suggestions pls....

if u bought a nokia XL. after few hours you think that.. oh!! no need of xplaining those feelings. but u are with right phone to experiment with.. if u wanna be safe side.. just do nothing with ur phone. if u wanna do some online transations then stay away.. keep calm.. but if u r dare enough.. then try "experimenting" with ur phone.. where nokia did with what u bought which doesn't satisy u.. there are lot of things to know. if u say "some xyz app is not working".. just keep calm n surf to do something with ur phone... many things r available but ""can't state them as secured" but if u wanna do.. dare to do like rooting, coustom ram's, flashing, etc..
jus durf.. soon u l be one of the xda user
