The phone looks good, but my biggest disappointment is that it is not compatible with WhatSapp. I stopped using the phone because of it. Friends who would like to be on Whatsapp should not buy this phone.

Mintoo, 04 Jul 2014It is very Bad phone, don't buy it, Whats app not supporting No guys u r wrong.. Bcoz I'm using this phone & I feel its an gud phn ever.. I hv an awesome experience with Nokia XL.. It's a gud phn so plz go for it frnds..& one more thing WhatsApp + is working properly in my XL..
A sure solution for Whatsapp+ for all Nokia X, X+ & XL.
1) Download Whatsapp( version 2.11.238) from 1mobile market.
2) Activate WhatsApp
3) Uninstall WhatsApp
Note: don't remove WhatsApp from fastlane
4) Now dowload whatsapp+ from Opera browser. By using below below link.

why are people obsessed with whatsapp. it's shit! cant install on more than one phone per number :D I didnt know this till i bought the XL. i have a lumia 520 too on which i use whatsapp. it's my primary phone and i will not be able to use same phone number on my xl. better to use facebook messenger for chat and other chat programs for file transfer.

I just bought nokia xl I am,enjoying it nice pictures wide screen nice and good but the,battery fall so quickly why. What should I do.

So far xo gud I can say nokia xl is awesome. Am a user and trust me I have no regrets buying dis phone.its camera is gud, ba3 backup is also gud. Ma apps are working fyn. Thumbs up nokia. For the issue of flash color luking kinda weired go to camera settings and for that of saving apps in ur memory is possible.jst go to da mobile market u have downloaded at the top there is an icon for setting it will ask if u want to save downloads to device or memory card den select memory card and save ur internal memory. I hope I have been able to help wif ma opinion

sneha, 04 Jul 2014is it true that whatsapp donot support?WhatsApp is working on this phone. The only problem is that you can't open it directly from app tray(If you try to open it directly from app tray it will display a message that your device is not supported). You have to open it through fastlane or from your contact. But this problem can be solved by installing WhatsApp+. You can open it directly from app tray.

I brought nokia xl on june 1st.its been one month overall a good phone in the market at this price range 5" lcd screen at this price
5mp primary camera N 2 mp front camer.... now lets wipe out the criticism regarding this phone top questions.Is this an android phone?
Ans) yes,but not pure android but it will give you awesome experience then stock android phone at this price range.please note (at this price rage) 2nd question.Does this phone support all android apps?
Ans) yes there are 75% of android apps in nokia store. If you search apps that doesn't found in the nokia store don't worry you just install an third party apps store I recommend 1mobile store.And you can
Install any apk file on xl.3rd ,question.Does this phone support what's app? Ans) yes A yes it support what's app N what's app+
I use the what's app applications that all android phones use but you can't open it directly but open it through fasrlane or you are using custom home launcher please download an multitask app so you can open it when you are using custom home launchers... don't why still people are saying don't buy this phone it doesn't support what's.4th question. Does this phone support Google apps ?
Ans) yes but some of them are not support. Gmail will support N Google search etc also supports
Now that problems am facing
It gets heating when we are playing game whether high or low quality
The indoor shoot with the flash is very pathetic
Flash is yellowish colour
Double tab to wake up phone is not double tab its threeble tab....
Now the wonders of xl
Screen is very clear even though the ppi is very low
Camera clarity is awesome
Even though ram is 768 mb it does the job of 1gb. ram 768mb means 768mb not like creepy phones at this price
Overall a brilliant phone from 200+ years of experience company
I'll give 4.5/5 score
Trust me its worth it it will gave u value for your money

I bought Nokia XL five days back and extremely dissapointed. Whatsapp cannot be downloaded and when I called up the Nokia care centre, they said it cant be done.Other Android phones are much better and base models are available at less than half of the XL price. Not to buy this phone.

Best Nokia Phone Ever...
I am using this phone for over a month, and now I thought why Nokia Didn't bring this kind of phone 1 year earlier...
Best battery backup, superior 5 mp camera, smooth fastlane impressive, 768 mb ram is good, 3G runs in high quality...
The only thing I miss is the Task Manager & Files (SD card) browser...
Over all performance is good...
Nokia is the best (Connecting People) :)

zERO, 04 Jul 2014nokia xl is the best phone after you root it... anything can be do...probably after rooting it's good. but i dont wanna lose my warranty. i hate Microsoft for doing this. on the bright side the photos takes have amazing clarity (in day time)
