Hasaan, 30 Mar 2014I have just gone thru the cideo review of Nokia XL and resulted in a confusion for me. Like al... moreyou can download it to sd card and phone memory.you can also move installed apps to sd card(almost every app).there wont b any play store.but u can use third party appstores.they wil satisfy ur needs.nokia store is also there.otherwise u can install play store by rooting ur phone.
SBR, 30 Mar 2014yeah this features are quite enough but google maps and play store should be inbuilt with this... moreNo need of google maps because its having offline HERE maps of microsoft, which is much better one. everyone thinks that android is bad without google play. its wrong. we can use 1mobile market, mobogenie etc third party apps. also nokia store is available. but lack of apps. one major advantage of nokia store is that it wil suggest the third party apps where the specified app is present. this makes so much easy to find an app we need. so no need to worry about play store and maps...

Many here keep commenting OFF POINT...
NOKIA XL will be totally awesome. Think of it's offline map.... Other brands of phone keeps making the samething.... I do use android alot. From samsung down to htc, there is no difference in interface..
Kudos to NOKIA for bringing out a new type of android. Ram doesn't matter as long as i can explore/see something different in android .
For my last word, GO FOR NOKIA....... Go search youtube, there are many toturials about NOKIA x series
Anmol, 28 Mar 2014good new$.., nokia xL WIll launch on 31st june 2014very funny
I have just gone thru the cideo review of Nokia XL and resulted in a confusion for me. Like all other Android devices the applications downloaded from the play store are normally located in the phone memory or in SD card memory. The review says that you can download the from the CD card into the phone memory. Does it mean that I wont be able to download the apps in the CD card? Can downloaded applications only be stored into the phone memory only and not in the CD card memory? And one more question is that is there an android play store in this phone?
seems like nokia asha phones , gonna be popular ,
bt at the end of the it's nothing bt a box phone,,,
wating , for nokia pure android phone !
wit gret specification !
still watttingggg plz lonch it...
i will surely buy one bcoz
1.nokia build quality and grt design
2.android in new interface with fastlane mixture
3.camera must be superb both rear as well as front since it is nokia
4.5 inch display wil give much more than u need from a phone
5.price wil be so low to make it chosen by me.
6.internal memory and ram does not matters since other phones from samsung & sony more than this price gives lesser ram and internal storage.
7.user friendly new nokia interface
8.music wil be great experience since im stil using NOKIA
9.no need of playstore since other third party apps are there.playstore is a bit of laggy here too :)
some major faults i hav found are:
1.pixel density only 187 ppi, which is the minimum for a smartphone like this.
2.weight is a bit heavy 190 gm
3.corning gorilla glass is a necessary since lower end phones from nokia too hav it.
anyway nokia i hope nokia wil improve these in next x series models... XL WILL BE A GREAT SPARK IN INDIAN MARKETS... SO DONT THINK TWICE... BUY AND ENJOY IT... it wil never make u despair.... try it
Last night i research about nokia xl and it says
NOKIA XL GETS AN APRIL RELEASE DATE IN THE PHILIPPINES
March 16,2014-posted 8:15 PM GREGG003
It seems like Filipino's will again be given another front seat row in getting one more of Nokia's recently announced Android running smartphone trio's as the Nokia XL is about to be release in about 2-3 weeks.
Philippine mobile market will be crowded as soon as this phone comes out! Im a WP fanboy, excited to see Nokia getting the throne again!
nokia xl copied 50% from windows and other 50% from android.....so it is just a mixture and lost its own personality of nokia
