Nothing Android Rumors

A leaked internal email shared by @evleaks confirms that the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) will be the brand’s first flagship phone. The email comes directly from Carl Pei and outlines the year ahead, with the Phone (3) being mentioned as a flagship phone and “a landmark smartphone launch” set in Q1. The upcoming flagship Nothing phone will offer “breakthrough innovations in user interface” and will feature the brand’s first set of AI features.

Pei also confirmed that Nothing will expand its camera hardware and software development teams by 50%, which means the company will double down on its software and camera optimizations for current and future smartphones. Nothing is rumored to launch three smartphones in 2025, with the Phone (3) joined by the more affordable Phone (3a) powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and Phone (3a) Plus.

7s Gen 3 is neither a flagship processor having AnTuTu score below 1 million, so not be considered as a proper flagship.

Physical iPhone style silent mode rocker buttons take up space because of the mechanical parts, not much, but space nonetheless. Having a series those on the sides of phones would make them bulky, mechanical parts are also far more prone to breakage....
