ZTE nubia Android Rumors

The next gaming phone by nubia is supposedly going to be called Red Magic 6, and as evident by this new teaser, it will have an electrochromic back panel. It will let it become transparent at the press of a single button, adding an extra bit of flashiness.

You can check out the video teaser below to see the tech in action:

Beyond the super high tech rear panel the Red Magic 6 will have a design similar to the Red Magic 5G that had a transparent back panel where you could see the fan spinning.

Previously OnePlus introduced its Concept One where the camera played peek-a-boo, while vivo had a prototype of its own. 2021 could really see the technology go mainstream.

nubia already confirmed its next Z series flagship will run on the Snapdragon 888 chipset, and obviously, it will make its way to the Red Magic lineup in due time. Whether it's going to make it to the same phone remains to be seen, however.

Never buy any Red Magic products ever again, they suck. Sold my red magic 3 at a dirt cheap price after i got the ROG 3. They are trying to be innovative but not improving and stabilizing what they already have. Software issues, battery drain ineffic...

I wish they had used the same material on the camera lens cover as well so that the users could've used it like a built-in variable ND filter, but oh well.
