Yordan 25 March 2024

ZTE nubia Android

The nubia Z60 Ultra cameraphone was released in the closing days of 2023 with unique 35 mm primary camera and slid all-round specs. The phone now gets a new version with new design and extra AI camera features that will go on sale starting March 28.

The full name is nubia Z60 Ultra Photographer Edition and the design of the back panel strongly reminds us of a point and shoot camera of the near past.

The photography theme also underlines that the phone is another installment is a series of very capable cameraphones, folling the nubia Z50 Ultra, 2018 nubia Z18 and the 2014 nubia Z5 and Z7 series.

It's unclear what the AI enhancements brought by the Photography edition will be, but seeing how it has the same hardware as the regular nubia Z60 Ultra odds are they will be delivered as a software update to the original model.

We will know more after the launch on Thursday. We also hope to learn if the limited edition will escape China then.
