heya every1i got a o2 x3 rite and it stays turned on with out the sim in n wen i put the sim bk in it goes off can some1 help me or is this a reli cruddy fone lol thanks msg mme plz xxx

Lol, No there are no good points about this phone, it is indeed sh**. The only half decent feature it has is an mp3 player, though for a reason beyond me you can only have a certain number of tracks on the playlist at anyone time, which is a load of bulls testicles :P
Camera is extremely poor, video capture is borderline "ok", but only when outside, the flash resembles that of an extremely cheap torch. It gets stuck on vibrate at least a few times a month, crashes for no reason, has a really poor signal receiver, text messages arent always received properly. The phone should support emoticons' though you can't put any in...
Basically buying this phone is a BIG mistake.

can anyone help?....... for some wierd reason my fone has stopped recieving mms messages, and wont send them. i have been too o2 shop and they were helpful, but not enough too solve the problem. they went through the settings and said its ok but im not convinced,,,, any suggestions ?

No the x3 doesnt have FM. it doesnt even have loudspeaker for when makeing calls which is kinda stupid considering there is a built in loudpeaker for the mp3. yes you can record sounds and set them as a ringtone aswell

hi i dunt no how to put mp3 on me 02 x3 i ent gto a reader to put in the pc but i gto the mini card the appdapter n the cd thing plz emial me to tell me how to do it make it easy!

On 2nd phone with same prob. as all other respondents. SWITCHES ITSELF OF. Agree good case for Trading Standards people. Its utter,utter rubish>

Does this phone have FM radio?
And can you record sounds?
I already have found out for myself the picture quality is rubbish, If it doesnt have these it is almost certainly going in the bin.

I've just got this phone for cristmas and am extremly worried, there have been so many awful reviews, I tried the camera the other day and to be honest thought it was rubbish, as my old phone {which I am reconsidering using again was the brilliant Nokia 6230, which had a great camera and all the things i needed} whereas this phone hasn't , I feel let down and wish I could take it back. But I suppose it was my fault it did only cost £100 whereas the Nokia cost £179. But I cant help feeling angry.

I work for o2 and it seems that this phone is the most common phone to go wrong in almost every way

i have thid phone...your wasting your money getting it...it switches itself off and has a short battery life i wouldnt recomend it

For that person that said buy a phone by a phone manafacturer not a tarrif supplier,its not made by o2 its a benq! which are a phone manafacturer! doh!

this is the worst phone i have ever had thank god my jail sentance is over with phone as my new upgrade is a D600 (fantastic) the X3 was just perthetic it switches itself off had to been sent in for repairs and after having the phone maybe 6 months the buttons would slowly begin to seize working without having to apply excessive force until basicly all i could was answer a call and even that was a task. its almost like o2 just got a little exiceted when they thought they could put all those featues on one phone and the honest truth is it couldnt cope with it. all in all this phone could have been great but it wasnt.

me and my girlfriend both have had this phone for over a year now and ive had some crap phones over the years but this takes the p**s. It switches off on it's own, gets stuck on vibrate, won't allow some pictures to download, battery life is short, it is just a horrible phone. O2 should be reported to trading standards for this diabolicle mobile phone. I'm going back to my Philips brick from now on, and my girlfriend is just going to bin hers and buy from a proper manufacturer.

i am using this fone for abt a year,it is the best phone i have ever used .with 9-10 call daily with some mp3 and camera usage i got 3 days of standby time.
it is better than any samsung mobile phone,has the lousdest of mp3 ringtone i have ever heard.faster GPRS etc

I got fed up with phone not working ( kept switching itself off) and returned it 3 times for repair.I had 2 new phones one which was repaired twice. I eventually asked O2 to replace it as I had only had it for 4 months including the time it was away for repair. It took over an hour and a half but i managed to get to speak to someone who cared enough to give me a brand spanking new Nokia. I am so glad that i changed back to Nokia. The X3 was just so rubbish. Its so rubbish they dont sell it now. Stay away from this phone.

if anyone could tell me how to download mp`3s or do anything via my laptop and the usb cable i would be very grateful thanks, otherwise an excellent phone
