No problem man. Always happy to know that I helped another Atom user. As for themes, you can always use SPB unithemes that you can download for free at www.spbsoftwarehouse.com
They've got about 10 themes that looks pretty decent. Or you can always randomly download themes of the net by searching on Google. If you find something interesting, please feel free to share w/ all of us. Tc man
Hey guys, i dont know about you, but ive learned a lot from Will...
Will, dude, thanx 4 all the cool info on the device, its good to know that there is someone out there who knows and shares info with us!
BTW: other than SPB and the games, is there any way to change the themes on the Mighty one? i cant seem to find anything fit for it or for win. 5.0.
Thanx again will
Hi guys, still confuse to choose between XDA Atom or HP Ipaq rw 6828. In fact that i still a little bit doubt that of Atom's troubles. I heard that HP Ipaq rw 6828 is the same specification with XDA Atom with different cover and color of course.
As for the unknown person who asked the question about the DOP or Atom... ATOM BABY! With the lastest ROM (04.05.06) you will see a significan improvement! I couldn't possibly live w/out my Atom now! Happy shopping!
Angelo, Yahoo msger is not preinstall on the Atom. However you may download it here: http://download.yahoo.com/dl/ce/ymsgr-ppc.exe
You can also download ICQ for your Atom at:
Have fun pal! A little advice, make sure you don't chat too long on your GPRS/EDGE plan or you'll have a MIGHTY surprise on your phone bill for data. :) TC man
For your problem w/ SPB Weather, you gotta make sure in your settings you set your weather source from 'GisMeteo.ru'. It will upgrade every time you sync w/ your pc automatically. If problem persist, uninstall and reinstall it. You won't need the serial # again because it will be registered already. As for checkers, yes, I do have it and I also mentioned it b4. What you need to do is to download the 'Tetris Classic Game Pack', which includes Tetris, chess, checkers... etc. You install whatever you want and to register for any of the games in the classic pack is the same serial number (36529843). Have a mighty Atom blast w/ your games! :) Tc man
trying to decide between the atom or the dopod 818 pro. The dopod is cheaper and I heard it was faster, but this was before the atom rom update. Anyone know which is faster and better now?
those softwares & games serial u provided were good. But the SPB Weather only works once then having problems refreshing data. U have the serial for Checkers from www.handmark.com? Appreciate your help.
does anyone know how to install yahoo messenger to the O2 atom...or is it installed?
Kiki, read the previous postings. I have posted serial # for registration for your games for free. Just browse through the postings and you'll find it. :)
hi! i've juz got my atom pure 2 days ago fm s'pore. is eager 2 fill up more fun features 2 my new babe! may i know besides e fav utilities, where can i get games like previous mentioned monopoly, golf, tetris, bubble puzzle (if any) etc 4 my babe? tx in advance 4 ur kind reply.
OK. I fixed the sound quality a bit by turning down the first three bars of the EQ a bit.
HOWEVER, the noise problem must have been coming from the 2.5 - 3.5 adapter.
I paired the Itech R35 and it is fairly AWESOME. Sound quality is MUCH improved with less background noise (I have to make an effort to hear it), barely audible clicking between tracks, and the beeps when you navigate the Atom are just audible enough. This was a problem with the iPhonos, which had a beep so loud that it hurt my ears.
And there is less stalls in the music. Overall I'd say the Itech BT solution with your favorite headphones is the way to go. (maybe that's why there are whole threads about it on PPCSG). You don't notice the wires so much if you stuff em down your shirt, and the unit can be tucked away safely somwhere.
All the controls (volume, FF, RW, phone, Play) work fine except Pause. I can live with that though.
Now if anyone has tips on that golf game it'd be great!
Thanks guys. So today I listened to music on my player at work. I typically listen to fast/hard music at the gym or while biking to work. So I changed it up and was listening to quieter music in a quieter environment, and heard a terrible static/wind noise. It kind of sounds like someone is blowing in your ears or something.
Anyone encounter this? If I'm rockin' or rappin' out, it is not an issue, but for general listening - and now because I know it's there - it is bothersome.
I should also note that this is with a set of Sure E3C and a set of Audio Technica canals, so maybe they are just more sensitive than the original cheapie headphones??.
Can I adjust the EQ or something to limit this noise? I've tried that and even a soft reset to kill any programs that may be interfering.
BTW, you should try to download O2 Plus. Great stuff & besides, it's free! You'll have to download it with your device though. I suggest you download it with WiFi 'cause if you use GPRS or EDGE, it'll cost you a fortune! ;)
TimB, glad you're having a great time w/ your atom and the serials i provided. ;)
You should download Monopoly. It's really fun (S.: 52142652). TC Bro
