the exact message is "is not a valid pocket pc application." Is there a reader already install in o2 mini?

I downloaded MSreaderPPCUSASetup.exe to my O2 mini and double clicked the file. It's telling me the reader is not supported and I can't install. Does anyone know why?

You can try to edit the registry and see if it works. I bumped up the cache for my Mini and the speed is really faster. However, not too sure if this works on your XDA IIi though. Before you do any registry hack, back up your calender and contacts first. Then download a simple registry editor like EdReg. Can download it from www.ppcsg.com, goto FREEWARE, Search for Registry.
Speed up mini:
1) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\GDI\GLYPHCACHE\
2) Change the value of 'limit' from 8192 to 32768
3) Soft reset.
You should experience a noticeable jump in performance.

I have been using O2 XDAII for about 3 months now. It was VERY SLOW and unresponsive, even slower than windows celeron system. I was given a replacement handset, upgraded version, XDAIIi. And guess what? It does not update the clock!!! You have to tap the clock before the XDA rises from 'sleep' mode. I have been informed by data support that this is an inherent problem with the system.
I wonder what would happen to the calendar schedules!

Hi everyone
I bought O2 mini last week, quite disapinted about camera, I 've been able to used max 1.3MP to have a photo. ( said : memory full, not able to save...) > It said ROM 64Mbs, but copare with HP ipaq 2210 i have which the same RAM. Ipaq 2210 can store more files than O2mini. And also It said Flash ROM 64Mb, but actually memory about 17Mbs. I have tried to save my files or aplication to my 256Mbs SD card. When it loaded, too slow.
About battery, i have to recharge everyday, not as advertised 180hrs stand by mode.
Howerver I like the small design and combined features on O2 mini. Is any one can show me how to use camera with 1.3MP with miniO2

u can reformat using yr computer. i don know if mini can reformat cos never try b4.

try to soft reset. if can't then u hard reset.

u have to hard reset so everything goes to like brand new, just like setting up the phone again.

Anyone knows how to format the 256SD card? I got one file locked inside there, cant rename, cant delete. Any solutions appreciated.

i just bought a mini yesterday. For some reason the keys don't work any more. Did I set something wrong. Right now when I press on the keys to answer phones, there's no response. Please help.

I installed Mobipocket reader in my phone. I changed my mind and uninstalled the program, but I could not seem to get rid of the inactive link/icon in the program window. Help! I tried to instal and unistal once again and I ended up with 2 inactive icon now. Help!! Thank you sooo much.

hi,does anyone have a programme that can add icons on the desktop? i had one previously, but after i preformed a full reset. i lost that programme. anyone has it? email me. the programme shows battery, memory status and you can add icons like window media IE on the desktop. please help

The chinese sw only allows read of chinese sms but not write. Get it from me if you want. Add me into msn or yahoo - id - melvin97620900. Fs, Can you send me the voice command ? For the wifi card with integrated memory, you can get the Sandisk brand. I got it from IT show at $199.
