I have an XDA EXEC of which the screen is non-responsive to the stylus. I have tried a soft reset, hard reset and a ROM Upgrade; all to no avail. Now the screen is just blinking with a multi-coloured interface. Can someone help because I'm now at my wits end. Thanx

Moreover hardware is exactly the same as XDA Exec but OS is faster and more responsive than Exec. If you're considering to buy Exec, I'd rather suggest you go for this, much better!

Have this phone after selling my XDA. Imagine anything and you have it in this set.
                    - Wifi, Bluetooth, Infra, 1.3Mp Cam.
                    - Windows 2003, upgradable.
                    - Very good battery time considering the fact that you will be using all the features.
                    - Sound quality, awesome; both headset & speaker.

Have it now for more than an year and highly recommended for business users.

I'm sure that those who know what a good phone's worth, will agree that the 02 Xda2i is one of the finest phones ever! I'm in IT and a phone freak. This is the only phone that has kept my attention for over a year now. Forget about the horrible posts and bad experiences some people allege about the phone. If people can be irritated about their free God-given looks, then they can be irritated by anything. Even by the world's finest phones - my XDA 2i.

Hi there, I bought this IIi from my friend 5 months ago who is complaining about alot of frezzing up problem and this and that. The device is about 1 year old.
I found there are tons of junk in device as well as no. of virus. So I do a hard reset and the system are just like new. Being using for the last 5 months, no a single problem I had encounter. I had also installed quite no. of games and other applications. All on my mobile storage (SD card).
Everything run like a breeze, very fast. Beat my wife's 6828, my previous IIs and friend's 818 pro flat.
The big screen, you will appreciate it when you are watching movie and doing text input.(size does matter)
I have no regret at all about buying this device, only regret is that I did not get it earlier.
The battery drain fast when playing movie and net surfing (get at least one spare unit). But if you use only the phone it will last you a week. Alaa.. No meaning buying PDA phone if using the phone only, better buy a plain mobile phone.
                            Advice to new user..
                            1. Always store your program and data in the SD card. (I'm using 1GB)
                            2. Use PC to scan your software for virus before install into your device.
                            3. Don't keep junk.
I bet you'll love this device.

I used an xda IIi for two years with no serious problems.Suddently, after a hard reset, it installs the proper files, i choose profile (personal/corporate) but when i choose type of network (GPRS) it hangs there, saying something like ("version 1.0..something") in the screen and i have to take out the battery,to be able to open it again! Not even a reset (hard/soft)doesn't help. Any ideas? Thank!

for my opinion..im using this device almost 2 years..within in this 2 yrs i had no major problems..it is normal for those who use pda phone like freezing and hanging..but if you are heavy user you need to change the battery..im often browsing internet using my xda IIi while listening to the music at the same time on my xda..its not too slow compared to my father who using an ipaq rw6828..its good device although its a little too out date like no 3g,no high pixel camera, only come with 65k colors, but the things is it has a lerger screen..n it has no lagging of using 2gb sd card.(i use kingston)..but almost the software that i install i was installed it in sd card to maximised the internal storage for smooth running..and if im not mistaken i was just only doin 3 hard reset..and furthermore my sms storage right now are more than 10k of sms including the items in inbox, sent items, and addtional folder..i love to use this divice..tq
