XDA IIs rocks!! It has got to be the most handsome pocket pc to date. I have an XDA IIs and never experienced the problems being mentioned here by other "supposed" users. With all the possible connectivity options like Wi-Fi, bluetooth, infrared, GPRS, Quadband.. It's got everything. The screen is fantastic. The battery lasts much longer than the XDA II. Keyboard is very very usable. As a matter of fact, it is better than the clie UX40 I had before and way better than the treo.. Pocket PC rocks. Anyone who gets to use a pocket pc would never look back into there "palm" days..

    these x range pdas are cool but the pdas are not as good as tablet pc's. you get 20gb hdd and above with tablet pc's and now there is a very small compact one with windows xp os called OQO Model 01 and it is smaller in size than most pdas. it is awesome it has an integrated slide down qwerty keyboard. you can install lots of pc games like gta san andreas and all too. awesome only thing is the price hmmmmm.

      I've bought xda IIs about 2 weeks ago...but the standby time of the battery is only 24 hours. Is there an extended battery produced by O2 ?
      Thank you for the information.

        10 of us bought 10 units of XDA 2s on 26/2/05. 7 of us have to return it back for swaping or 1-2-1 exchange due to the problems;
        1. It hangs every minutes
        2. every now & then we have to reallign the screen
        3. even we performed soft-reset, it still hangs
        4. u've no option but to factory-reset. loading will coz u more times.

        I've never faced with any prob with my previous XDA 2

            I got my o2 xda ii about 2 weeks, it doesn't come with a memory card. So, naturally, i bought 1. after inserting the card, I can read whatever is in the card, unfortunately, I can't create new folders without soft reset. copying files is also a problem. It hangs after each of this request. But after the soft reset, the files and the folders I've created is there. Help.

                  Has anyone had problems with power failure? Mine is only a month old and already have had it drop out twice, and perform it's own hard reset...it is away being 'repaired' as we speak, not sure i'll trust it again, might have to go back to the phone only....

                    imo i think that i want the archos pma400 more than any other pda shown on here or anywhere. it has linux os, you can connect a usb keyboard which can fold to fit in your pocket, 30gb hdd, connect to tv/cable box etc to record your favourite shows, connect to tv to view movies or pictures on the big screen, also opera browser, emulators and plenty of other stuff. but thats my opinion.

                          i hope o2 bring out the xda4 soon. from the pictures on msmobiles i can see that it is the same size as the o2 xda2s and one of the pics show the back of the phone which looks to say 1.3 megapixel and it has vga camera for video calling. it is really cool and fits in your hand perfect well that depends on what size of hand you have small or big. really awesome i'm gettin it as soon as it is released. well done htc for designing the best pda yet and the mini laptop look makes it look just like a tablet pc but way smaller and can fit in your pocket unlike tablet pcs which are bricks and the size of big laptops unlike this awesome device. bring it on.

                              It can play MPG video files just not in Windows Media Player - you'll need to download the DivX player for pocket pc - its free and codecs with work.

                                        To diran,

                                        What are you talking about! The rocker pad skips forward when pressed to the right and skips back when pressed to the left. Volume is controlled the same way, up or down on the rocker pad. Plus, you can map different buttons on the device to do what you want. Read the manual!
