Samsung Android Software updates

Last week, Samsung opened up its One UI 3.0 beta for the flagship Galaxy S20 phones. The beta was initially limited to users in South Korea and the US but as of today it's also available to users in Germany. Those who can't wait to test out the new Android 11 based interface will have to register via the Samsung Members App. Once approved you should see the option pop up in the software update sub-menu.

The update itself comes with the G98xxXXU1ZTJA build number and weighs in at around 1.8GB. One UI 3 is a substantial overhaul of Samsung’s interface with plenty of software tweaks, AOD options, DeX additions and more accessibility controls, you can check out all-new OneUI 3.0 additions here. Past One UI 3.0 betas did come with plenty of bugs and issues so make sure you keep a backup your data before you try it out.

Well, wait for it, or, what is special about UAE? Does Samsung sell most of its devices there? Or what?

Hope Samsung gives a patch to the S20 FE. Mine has touchscreen issues (a bug also mentioned in Android Authority). This happens when typing with the keyboard and playing games, irrespective which refresh rate the phone is set (I mostly use 60Hz)
