Anonymous, 02 Jun 2016How is the long term performance of the OP2? is it still ok to get the OP2 in 2016? I just installed the beta version of Marshmallow and this phone is amazing. Much faster and camera is able to take better photos that stock Lollipop. I would still recommend it.
I have OP2 since Oct 2015, it has been updated 2 times OTA since then, i have not gone for the Beta Marshmellow update yet as it is not stable, OTA not launched yet. Battery last around 4-6 hours, full charge takes around 2:30 hrs, i switch off and reboot once daily this keeps the phone working quite ok. I have around 100+ apps use internet on wifi mostly some time LTE. Gets quite heated up some times.
Now answering the question am I happy with this phone - NO, reason is with one of the best possible hardware - this company has ruined it with totally absurd software ROM. and worst is they are not able to address it completely even after so many updates and betas. Probably they need outside china help in that area which they don't like. You can check the official blog with sooo many people complaining all the time.
Now with the new phone coming up soon, I am confident so many more customers will be cheated in name of hardware.

AnonD-295399, 02 Jun 2016Oneplus 2 is beast :') If U play games then OnePlus 2 gets heated as it has SD 810 processor. But apart from gaming I would suggest OnePlus 2 than the Moto X Play which is just an Ok phone & G4 cannot even be compared to OP2.
Guys can you help me to decide with which device (from below) to go with...I am looking for fast processor, good camera and good resolution to play heavy games :-
One Plus 2
Moto X Play
Moto G4 plus
OTA updates coming after how much time?? Like security patches etc?? & how much it take to full charge?
i have the phone it is a very bad phone it crashes and my battary is gettin worse and worse my phone just freezes
great phone with solid built and awesome performance. but lacking in to the metal body.
Really bad phone.. Battery doesn't last at all.. Its drains at the rate of 1%/min. It gets stuck on changing applications. Dialer and calling apps have a very bad response time. Takes about 5secs to pick/cut a call. The phone is only good for 5-6 months. So buy it only if you have the capability to change it after 6 months otherwise it's waste of money. Only good in quantity of features really bad in quality of anything.

I have had this phone for almost a year now and here are my opinions
1)Best Bang for your buck
2)Well Rounded Features
3)Quite Powerful thanks to Snapdragon 810
4)USB Type C connector
5)Oh god !! I love the Sandstone Back
6)Great Camera performance
7) Good Battery Life
My only gripe with this phone is that it doesn't have fast charging !!
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO BUY THIS ONE !!
