But in some devices, even after enabling it, the phone couldn't detect the USB drives. This was exclusive to a few devices. Not all, as I mentioned in my earlier comment.
vance, 23 Jul 2016Does OnePlus3 have on-screen navigation touch capacitive buttons???You can change it in the settings.
RuleR87, 22 Jul 2016By the time I got to the end of the comment where you called the phone ugly, I was like ... ye... moreYes I don't have it, yet, so I suppose we can call it imaginary.
I believe you already have your OP3 to take it so personal.. but look I didn't say your phone was ugly, did I? I said it is meh: great look? No. Ugly? No. It has a Premium look but lacks in identity, some kind of iPhone 6 wanna be, but far from being ugly.
I own the phone, overall it's a very pleasant experience.
Blazing fast, crash free, lag free, really fluid.
Call quality is good, I have better signal than with my old Galaxy S4, it's the same with data coverage, way better.
AMOLED screen, where black is black.
OS is very clean and customizable.
Camera takes good pictures, especially in good light, also it's really fast.
Fingerprint sensor is fast.
Quality build is good, metal just feels different.
Love the double tap to wake and hovering hand to wake the display, also that you get to see the notifications.
During gaming, it doesn't overheat, it gets a bit warm but that's about it.
Battery lasts about a day, maybe less, but I tend to use it a lot, also charges fast.
Screen colors are just a bit off, even with sRGB mode on, imo that makes it worse, especially on white background, I have no issues with the full HD resolution, and I love that it is an AMOLED Display, but it could have been better.
Speaker position is just ... wrong, I always cover the speaker while gaming.
While recording video, it keeps autofocusing for some reason, even after the 3.2.1 update.
My one plus 3 is great ...but it lags for a fraction of second In some apps...I mean it's not smooth at that particular point...don't know whether it is normal or not...help?
NNGeek, 22 Jul 2016My opinion on this.. First I haven't bought my phone yet and I am over 2 months here and there... moreBy the time I got to the end of the comment where you called the phone ugly, I was like ... yeah sure whatever, have fun with your imaginary S7.

Sara, 21 Jul 2016Should I buy one plus 3 or Lg G3? Only one phone in my mind is worth going for instead of OP3 as of right now, is SGS7 edge. That too, if you can afford it. So, the answer to your question from me, is simply OP3. I've thoroughly researched about OP3, since I'm gonna buy it myself, and I don't have money to burn either.

NNGeek, 22 Jul 2016My opinion on this.. First I haven't bought my phone yet and I am over 2 months here and there... moreWhatever floats your boat, bro.
But in my country, SGS7edge(32GB) is twice the price of OP3. In my honesty opinion, Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is the best Android smartphone yet. But, not all can afford it. And in some cases, OP3 is better than SGS7 edge. And it's a device with no substantial flaw either. So, again, in my honesty opinion, OP3 provides the most value for money. And it's dream come true for smartphone enthusiasts who can't afford flagships by any means.
If I could afford it, I'd buy the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 6/7. But I know I can't. That makes OP3 more desirable, which brings the flagship flavors in affordable category.
Anonymous, 21 Jul 2016OTG Support or not?OP3 officially supports USB OTG. But in OXYGEN OS version 3.1.2 some faced a bug that prevented the device from being able to recognize USB devices. Though, I'm positive that the latest update fixed the bug.
Gulam, 20 Jul 2016Oneplus 3 is the best smartphone in 2016Not at all
fahadreal, 22 Jul 2016should I got this or the Huawei mate 8?? help me guys !!ONEPLUS 3 is an absolutely a fantastic phone. I have used samsung s6 and this phone is definitely much better than that. I strongly recommend this phone to anyone who is looking for a nice decent phone.
My opinion on this.. First I haven't bought my phone yet and I am over 2 months here and there reading and watching all I find in order to make the best choice.
I was a OP3 enthusiast, I was convincing myself that OP3 not only was cheap but was also something amazing, perhaps better than S7 (I would focus on some stuff and ignore other).
However there is one small details you are ALL missing:
OP3 has a limited market, you can buy it in OP website and some other partners, with a fixed price. (in my region 399€)
Now, Samsung S7 can be found in many e-commerce platforms and that is a game changer. Where I am SS7 is being sold at 740€. You can now find some stores that can sell it with a great discount for 600€. In e-commerce stores you can find it for 490€!!!!! Brand new! Many stores. Order online, and pick it up at the store, no need to pay anything up front (in case you are suspicious like me). SS7 Edge is now at 570€. Prices drop every day around 1€.
So am I going to buy OP3 for the price of 399? MORE, being dependent on the OP3 charger for the dash charge and given the fact that the phone is slippery and does not come with headphones, you need to buy the go big or go home bundle which will put a total of 460€. 30 Euros more and get the SS7. Comes with the headphones and since you are buying it in e-commerce for another 15 euros through in a Samsung cover.
For not much more, you can have the flagship of Samsung. Case to say NEVER SETTLE ahahah
My friend already has his SS7 Edge and is amazing, the real deal. I am currently waiting for the release of SS7 Edge+ to see how it will shake the prices before I make my move (is not every time you buy a new phone, do it well or don't do it at all).
Lets face it OP3 fans:
- OP3 has RAM that cannot manage properly. Samsung can jump from app to app with no need to reload content (see youtube vs. videos).
- The SS7 camera is waaaaay better. Plus the video.
- Waterproof is as useful as it is, but awesome nonetheless.
- Screen quality is just way way above on SS7.
- SD Card. With all the super HD pics and 4k Video where do you expect to save all that? I suppose these files must be kind of heavy.
- SS7 is just beautiful. OP3... meh.
