Anonym, 17 Nov 2016The day your phone breaks down you'll understand the importance of a card-reader. Try backing-... moreI am all for card readers, but you know that if you want a backup, you can use a USB-C flashdrive. This is actually better than a micro SD card as you can keep it safe at your house. Any backup that stays on the phone doesn't help you if you lose the phone.

A microSD card takes no space and decouples your data from your phone (by default). Internal storage does not. It requires you to have external storage devices and/or keep connectivity when you are abroad. It's a plain, "why settle"?
TurboBunny, 17 Nov 2016You should not wait for the day when your phone breaks. Back up regularly. most back up apps c... moreThat is the problem you dont know when it will happen and you don't always have access to the internet specially when you travel alot like I do where some areas/country have limited internet access. That's why OP3 failed/got discontinued or S6 failed to be a big hit because they removed SD card slots.
Also it COSTS ALOT of MONEY per data when using MOBILE and WIFI internet specially when your out of your house isn't always available.
Nowadays APPS tend to get BIGGER and BIGGER in SIZE, so 64gb/128gb will be filled up easily. Specially when recording high resolution videos/photos. FB/YT/any messaging apps, games, cam etc. eats alot of space and every update they get larger and larger.
What's up with that name? OP3T? When I read that, the most obvious image was a tablet, not a slight hardware change.

Back up regularly. most back up apps can schedule regular back ups, so there is no reason why you should back up 128 GB at one go after your phone bricks itself.

Anonymous, 16 Nov 2016128gb isn't enough for u? The day your phone breaks down you'll understand the importance of a card-reader. Try backing-up 128GB to the cloud...

64Gb might be enough for you, but to me is not even acceptable if I want to be able to carry my music with me at all times.
Gooo, 17 Nov 2016Where can i buy this phonewww.oneplus.net here you can get best price because its from official company.
Anyone else can sell you this phone but for much higher price.
To Oneplus Company You Say You Can Be Rival To IPhone7 It Make me Laugh Because One Plus Only (ANDORID)With BuG 6.0Marshmallow By The Way You Can Make More More RAM To Make It Performance Good But IPhone 7 Only 2 GB NO Lag LOL
Now they should discontinue OnePlus 3 and make room for the new OnePlus X with SD 820
If phones had less than 64gb I'd understand the grief about sd card slot. But when they offer you 64gb or more why would anyone care about sd cards? Do people carry their movie collection on their phones or something? Copying a few music into your phone ain't gonna take that long!
It is good for OnePlus to embrace rapidly the latest technology.
My biggest beef is the price increase. I know why they are doing it - because they CAN. No, their costs aren't higher they are building on brand awareness to extract more profit.
I have a OnePlus2 but its now my spare phone as I prefer the smaller phone 5" and I like removable battery and SD for being ultra-lightweight carrying a replacement battery than that huge dash charger and SD card handles better the phone being replaced. Put my OP2 turned off a 60% charged to make it last longer in a draw.
Anonymous, 16 Nov 2016128gb isn't enough for u? Card slot doesnt mean all about capacity, it gives you convenience to transfer data from sd card to sd card when especially moving big files without pc, like movies etc
