I am very very sad th... moreSeveral times only the screen of mine suddenly die as you, the motherboard is still working. I suppect humidity issue, because I often used it under water agricultural work. it You can find new screen (not original but good) around 20€ on Aliexpress.

The best phone I had it was with me from 27 June 2017 to 28 August 2024. I am very very sad that the phone suddenly stopped working while I was surfing YouTube, I took it to the service centre next day they declared it dead. I had to buy a new phone, posting my opinion and sharing my sorrow.

Amazing device, probably the best OnePlus ever made!
My mum found it in her safe and it still works. To her surprise it turned out to be almost fully charged.

Awesome phone. Got it on release, in 2017. Still going strong. I with OnePlus would have certified IP resistance, though, but otherwise, specs-wise, this model (OnePlus 5) still stands the test of time.

I thought though that it would lag or struggle to run but to my surprise me that this og is running "Hitman blood money" fluidly without any lag. So I guess that answers the power of this device;)

Even though the hardware and the design of the phone resembles an old phone in 2023, the working of the phone and the overall performance of the phone still holds up. When it comes to everyday usage, its still as smooth as butter
