A last year iPhone clone will always be a last year iPhone clone regardless of specs and in this case things are acctualy worse because it's an expensive one. Generally copycats are the poor man's choice( that wants but can't afford the original) and usually sell for a lot less.
This model might sell in some Asian markets but in the long run going in the "let's shamelessly clone Apple and Samsung" direction will have consequences for the OP brand in the rest of the world, especially in the West.
It is confirmed to cost 512 dollars, which is 32999 Rs, in India. So rest assured it will be around 500 to 550 dollar mark overseas too. Which I think is good news to everyone
Hold on to your precious money. There will be a OnePlus 5 (refresh) version by November or December this year sporting a SD836 SoC. Samsung's Note 8 is sporting a SD836. More or less a OnePlus 5 refresh version with SD836 SoC is not too far away..
Remember OnePlus 3 with SD820 SoC? By November of last year OnePlus 3T was release with SD821 SoC.
It's a 5-6 month cycle that OnePlus is implementing ala Sony, regarding their flagship outings.

I know everyone thinks it's gonna be under $600 but it's rumoured to be $800 to $1000 which is shameful from an anticipated phone like this.

Muhammad Fadhli, 09 Jun 2017How the prices of OnePlus 5 "256/128 Internal Storage & 8 GB Of RAM" in global market. . ? ome will argue that anyone could have taken a screen shot of an excel table and sent it in, are they aren't wrong. Though, these numbers arenÂ’t entirely implausible. Given yesterdayÂ’s number of EUR 550 for the Finnish market, we are seeing the Indian price above $500 as well. This only solidifies the fact that the OnePlus 5 might be the companyÂ’s most expensive handset yet.
This also claims that the OnePlus 5 will be available in both memory configurations for the Indian market. Will we get to see 8GB models in western markets? ItÂ’s highly unlikely since the only other smartphone that has 6GB here in the States is also a OnePlus device. It doesnÂ’t need to bring 8GB out here to compete.
What do you think of these prices? Would you be ready to slap down your credit cards now or would you rather wait to hear something more from the announcement?

Now OnePlus is just showing its Chinese nature...
Great iPhonesque design.

Piphacker, 08 Jun 2017Only Problem in One plus phones are heating issues ... Samsung is the only brand with no heati... moreThat's quite an overstatement, samsung has plenty of overheating issues, my galaxy s4 cant run videos anymore for more than 5 minutes without getting too hot to hold.
Piphacker, 08 Jun 2017Only Problem in One plus phones are heating issues ... Samsung is the only brand with no heati... moreYou are kidding, right. My Last phone was an S7. It's a hot piece of crap. It even gets hot while charging. My OP One was a lot cooler while using the same apps.
