Anonymous, 07 Jul 2017It's not a fake, on the website DxoMark OnePlus get only 87 scores And the HTC 10 scored a higher score. Last year's flagship. And let me tell you HTC 10 pictures are not good.
You guys keep believing some scores but the best way to judge is look at the pictures yourself. Gsmarena has an excellent tool on comparing sample shots in different conditions.
Let me repeat, DxOmark is #FakeNews. OnePlus 5 camera is crap.
How to distinguish between the global version and chinese version inside of phone and outside the box cover, when we can buy the global version and where the official store ??
Cpt. Power, 08 Jul 2017Thats true but still doesnt answer my question. Wish to have A 5,5 inch or 6-6,5 inch at most ... moreDoesn't fit all your criteria but Xiaomi's Mi5S Plus is a worthy candidate and if you're on a budget it might be a good choice.

Thats true but still doesnt answer my question. Wish to have A 5,5 inch or 6-6,5 inch at most phone with more than 4000 mAh battery with snapdragon 821 at minimum or better Exynos octa also do or Hi silicon Kirin 960 or something like that. 6gb ram or better and at least 64 gb disk space plus memory slot. And a good graphic card for gaming. Clash of Lords 2 is an adroid game most played game in world on mobile phones and its need a powerfull phone to run it smoothly.
And of course android 7.0 or never.

Shhzd amar, 07 Jul 2017Bro, there are many behind the stuffs going on... Samsung phones are available offline and onl... moreMan allright. I wasnt that person i just thinking should buy one for my self.
Having gruesome phone for 500 is great. Thats like to say my budget. Most i am able to spend for a phone.
But maybe a xiaomi Mi6 for 400 will do. Or i dont know. I just wanted a phone with 4000+ battery at least 5,5 inch screen at least 32gb storage and memory card slot. At least 4gb ram and a good processor i like gaming a lot. And hot phone which you can barelly hold in your hands its not my dream. I dont care if is dualsim or no. I am trustworthy to my operator and i wont change it no matter what. Their offer its just best in my country for great price. So any advice?
Also phone must looks good and have nice bezels or at least some bezels.
Phone without bezels its like car withoout bumpers and thats ugly.
Honor 9 was my favorite only problem is low battery.
abdullanka, 07 Jul 2017Kudos Cpt. Well said.
Well also why apps and games MAY come to the App Store first is becaus... moreWell to be honest i never had a one plus before. I dislike chinese products aspecialxy fashion due to their super low quality. Usualy a brand new trousers i am able to wore in a 2-3 days so much i have to bin them. Shoes last like a week until they are good for trash bin, messenger bad i carry every day as well. But from my very first chinese phone which was huawei i was surprised and satisfied with phone. Now i have lenovo vibeshot lamost for 2 years and i am very happy with it. I care for my phone for me its like a jewel. Even after 2 years its still as good as new. To be honest i am saying and standing behind my words even an average or above average phone can be as good as flagship in many aspects. You dont need water protection unles you are really clumsy. You dont need eye scanner if you have nothing to worry or you live in dangerous country with high criminality.
And if we speak about services or replacement if anything happens i agree with u its possible to live in a country where you have difficulty to find service for some brands.
In my country there is many services for many chinese devices even i live in central europe in Tiny country known as Slovakia.
Never heard before OnePlus have that bad service centre or customer support. But when first of their phones has been released it was a boom.
RaghavaZ, 07 Jul 2017Go to apple website and check the prices of iPhone 7 32gb, unlocked, carrier free. $649. Every... moreMan allright this is true but other truth is 99% people buy from their nearest casual shop and in any casual shop it wont cost 649.
Its same like OP5. In their website cost 499 or 59 eur for a 8gb ram version in any of my country casual shops its price tag is between 650 to 800 eur.
S, 06 Jul 2017What's the future proof we are talking about here? Oneplus stop upgrading the OS after 1 to 2 ... moreBy future proof I mean the RAM is future proof... And the updates are not confirmed... The oneplus one was launched with kitkat and was updated till marshmallow, then Qualcomm stopped making the drivers for the Snapdragon 801 present on the opo so oneplus had to stop... The drivers released by Qualcomm for the SD810 were very unstable so oneplus decided to keep the oneplus 2 on marshmallow so that it doesn't create a problem for the users... Anyways even if we don't get the official update we always have a very good community to developers who can provide unofficial updates...
Cpt. Power, 05 Jul 2017Sorry man its not a piece of jnk its an expensive garbage better now? Try to work for Samsung... moreBro, there are many behind the stuffs going on... Samsung phones are available offline and online both, oneplus is only available online which contributes to the reduction of price of oneplus... Then the service aspects, oneplus has a lot less service centres than what samsung has... As oneplus is expanding they're also increasing the prices... The profit margins on spare parts for samsung phones is way less than oneplus... There was a case when a oneplus 3 was completely destroyed and the service centre quoted the person 48k for the total repair... That's almost double the cost...
Those who are planning to buy OP 5 should necessarily compare it with recently launched Honor 8 Pro. Honor 8 Pro camera with OIS and performance in poor light conditions is a clear winner against OP 5 in both still photos and videos. Battery and gaming performances are similar in both devices. However, Honor Pro scores over in design, display in sunlight and Rs 5k less cost overall, is a clear winner over OP 5.
