Anonymous, 28 Jun 2017By look this phone is a downgrade to oneplus 3tSorry, read up on specs before posting. The OnePlus 5 has Octa-core CPU vs Quad-core, Adreno 540 GPU vs Adreno 530, the option to get 128GB of memory, 8GB of RAM vs 6 GB RAM and Snapdragon chipset 835 vs 820.
Please tell me how this is worse than the 3T.
In my opinion better wait until 1+ 5t or Google pixel 2
This phone is full of marketing
Anonymous, 28 Jun 2017The back design is nothing superior it's made of plasticNope, the full back cover is made from aliminium with a coating. Sides are all steel so is buttons. Between screen and the housin, theres a little strip of plastic, but thats to keep the screen able to take more vibrations and handle better from falling.

All my working documents (spreadsheets/word etc) are all in the cloud - too important to lose with faulty hardware. If you stream music only - then yes 64GB is more than plenty. I am watching the sales in Canada - 64GB still shipping immediately. 128GB was up to 5 weeks last night and is back to 3 weeks. 64GB - gosh for such a small difference in price - why bother even building them? Pixel at least had two sizes.
But nowadays the smartphones are so powerful - with a keyboard you can do anything including streaming video from your phone to the TV - even tablets are starting to fade in sales. People that have and want music/video collections - have no home PC 128GB doesn't cut it.
To cater to all - I don't see much of a downside offering external memory especially when the blasted thing isn't even waterproof. Also the dual trays have the ability to have external memory - still OP doesn't do it. Though I didn't buy the OP5, it was a sore point but I have learned to live with 32GB+64GB on my S3 - the 128GB would be good enough for me. But yes still enough of a concern that people will pass without the external memory. Streaming is limited to your cell plan bandwidth (WIFI aside) to cloud all - I see validity in having external memory.
Kamal, 28 Jun 2017Sir, please tell me which model of Sony you are comparing with OP5?Sony Xperia XZ premium.
However my comment was in response to "vamcee" who mentioned "Sony's phone costs 60k & OP5 is 33k even though they have same processor".
PKM1, 28 Jun 2017Yes that's the real nightmare in these phones.Yeah, never mind that you should always keep backups of everything in the first place, and unless the phone is non-bootable, you could always make a backup before formatting.
PKM1, 28 Jun 2017Yes that's the real nightmare in these phones. With everything on cloud, the need for SD is just fading.
It is just like Google or Apple phones and I personally never had a problem with not having a SD, even when my phones had a slot for that
AnonD-680518, 28 Jun 2017Not Water Resistant?
No water resistance and...NO buttons in some cases =))
The first batch seems to be having some QC issues.Only the assembled in India models seem to be affected till now.
