The moment this phone hits the PH Market, I'm buying this one! Can't wait to hold this masterpiece!
I would like to ask if this phone is already available in the Philippines how much is the retail price and where you can buy it??
Ike, 23 Nov 2017My first oneplus phone was an Oneplus One hand me down from my sister. Although somewhat Janky... moreMy one plus 2 hardly lags and from more than 2 years I using it fully utilised. Now I have purchased 5T as well.
I closely monitored change in price for Oneplus phones in Asia. From Oneplus 3 - 3T and 5 to 5T. In one year, the max drop of price was INR 2000 (USD 31). Unlike Samsung who launched phone (with awesome design of course) however, dropped price in 6 months from 65000 to 53000 (USD 160) and more. I again loved the regular updates that Oneplus keep pushing to its phones and the constructions.
Anonymous, 24 Nov 2017will there be a soft-gold or gun-metal version available for OP5T as OP5 have if yes then when... moreoneplus 5 didn't have the colour option gunmetal, onlt the oneplus 3T if i'm correct.
For the oneplus 5 there were 4 variants: Midnight Black, Slate Gray, Soft Gold and the JCC Limited Edition.
The oneplus 5T launched with only the midnight Black but i'm sure a whole new variant will come out for the oneplus 5T. I love the deep matte black colour so i don't care with the upcoming colour variants
will there be a soft-gold or gun-metal version available for OP5T as OP5 have if yes then when it will arrive
Syn, 23 Nov 2017T-Mobile sells them for $500 flat. Infact this week u can get it for $375 on a special offer.I've seen the offer.
Now look: you wil have to stick to t_mobile for 2 years. It has unlimited Data plan, not bad.
You have 2 choices:
You have to pay 40USD upfront which by my calculations 370+40= 410USD
Then you have a BOOMING 85USD per month plan.. LOOOOL
Now let's see.
Total 2450USD by the end of 2 years. WOW, the Noto Z2 does come cheap.
Me: 500+(14.99*24)= 859.76USD
Now you have unlimited Data plan and Netflix.
Unlimited Data here is 24.99 and netflix 7.99 per month
(24.99+7.99)*24= 791.52USD+ 500 for the phone
Total 1291.52USD For the exactly same plan but for a different phone.
2450-1291.52=1158.48 for a Moto Z2 Force
Well done, you still think it comes cheap?
Syn, 23 Nov 2017T-Mobile sells them for $500 flat. Infact this week u can get it for $375 on a special offer.lol and what about your offer? and you have to stay on t-mobile wtf.
I rather pay full price and look, i got an offer with 100GB data, unlimited calls/sms/mms to every carrier for 15euros month. And i can leave whenever i want. Try and beat that...
Let's calculate how much you're gonna pay by the end of 2 years with an iphone/samsung flagship and see how much i pay by the end of the 2 years.
What i know is T-mobile doesn't offer anything decent for 15 Dollars. And if you want a phone the expect 30-40dollar bill every month...
My first oneplus phone was an Oneplus One hand me down from my sister. Although somewhat Janky, It was revolutionary. The first oneplus phone I bought was a oneplus two. The oneplus 2 was much better than the one because it committed to the oxygen UI, instead of the crappy cyanogen. I have been using the oneplus 2 for two years now. It is starting to get laggy so I just ordered my oneplus 5t 8gb with a 10% student discount for 503 bucks even though I graduated already LOL.
We all know Oneplus was and is still somewhat a flagship killer. Sure, there might be other products with certain other advantages but I think those are just minor advantages and preferences. I may be horribly wrong with this since I'm no phone expert. Feel free to prove me wrong
What really appeals to me about the ONEPLUS 5T compared to other products is the 8gb of ram along with its 16 mega pixel FRONT AND BACK. Sure, megapixels are not everything, but Its advantageous for taking pictures of scenery and when you need to alter pictures.
I believe most people use their phones for selfies, chatting, and gaming. I feel the above are quite useful for those purposes.
Sure, there are better OS (oreo) and higher quality CPUs, but those have not yet stood the test of time and/or are not for 500 USD.
What I think is undermined about the ONEPLUS is their durability. What I mean is that they are somewhat future-proof and stand the test of time. I have dropped by oneplus two many times in two years and theres no crack, it even runs smoothly besides some higher quality games, and there are still some 4gb ram phones being made in 2017 or worse.
Taken these things into consideration, I feel the ONEPLUS is still one of the best bang for your buck.
Again, I am no phone expert. Feel free to prove me wrong and show me other phones better for this price. I would really appreciate if it was in the gaming section since that is the reason why I am upgrading from my oneplus 2 to 5t. LOL
Cpt. Power, 23 Nov 2017Man most of the phones you mentoided are from previous year or arent flagships. I mean their s... moreHuh? This is what happens when u r blinded with love for a phone.
Most of those phones r released in 2017 and have SD 835 or 821. And if it's S7 and Pixel u r referring to, then I put them cos one offers a better screen, camera, protection and storage expansion options, while the other still has the best camera on a phone plus Google support.
