sbaz, 23 Nov 2022what's the average battery for this phone on normal daily usage?I've been using this phone since release its battery is still good, and usually last the whole day of casual use with mobile data on. The duration of the battery might differ for how long you use your phone or how intensive you're using it (games). but I can only say that it has been 3 years and the batteries are still in good condition. by the way the reason I bought oneplus7 rather than oneplus7pro is because high fps means high battery consumption (even if the pro has more mAh, and I hate moving parts like its pop-up camera (prone to damage).
P.S. I sometimes play games with the phone is charging, charging it overnight, and some pushing the phone to its limits (getting very hot).

We're in October 2022 and still no Android 12 update, latest security patch is June.
My phone is like new, just shorter battery life, the SD 855 is still very capable in 2022, but OnePlus software team abandoned us.

I am currently running OxygenOS 12 open beta 1 on my OnePlus 7 and I am surprisingly very satisfied. I use it as my daily driver and everything is working fine, mobile payments work fine, everything is smooth and battery life is same as latest OSS11 stable. They basically took ColorOS base and did very good job transforming it into clean, smooth, nice, well working variant of Oxygen OS. The homescreen onehand gesture is a very smart and nice feature. I like OOS12 open beta 1 much more than OOS10/11.
