Got this phone today. Installed gcam. The results are phenomenal. Overall the phone is superb. Excellent value for money. This is my first OnePlus device and I am very happy with my purchase.

Returning my device.
Even with HDR Toggled off, it still adds HDR filter on your pictures.
I strongly advice you not to get the device. Their support is absolutely rubbish.
Go with the Samsung s10 and use a OP dash USBC charger to get the best experience.

Flagship killer does not necessarily mean a blazing-fast processor because that makes the phone OBSOLETE in one year
3700 mah = too little
no headphone jack
no card slot: 64 GB + Micro SD > 1 zillion GB without expansion
no IR blaster
And I really wanted to buy this phone !

Sorry to say but I think you're not updated with the market trends, oxygen OS is one of the fastest and feature rich UI which beat the pixels in performance...
You know something about warp charging, all the heating remains in adapter and the phone doesn't heat up much, less battery heating, faster charging...
Do you know that oneplus 7 has 3700mah battery as compared to your mi9 having just 3300?
Btw I think you don't know the oneplus 7's and S10's pricing... The oneplus 7 retails for 33k and the S10 is for 61k here in India... Oneplus 7 is better in each and every way...

And there are certain parameters of water resistance, not like you submerge your phone in an ocean and take it out after an year and expect it to work...

You can use 5t for another year. Its a really good phone. Unless you change phone every 6 months or have a lot of money, I wd suggest to upgrade your phone when you can see a massive difference to have a really happy experience.

Not a single one of them is an all rounder. Op7 does click decent enough pictures in both good light and poor light conditions.

And op7 is at same price range beating mi9 in every area possible. Except 3.5mm jack. Just buy an adapter and get around it. You can get one for free using referral progeam on their site. Redmi k20 might stand close to op7 at a cheaper price..but mi9 is no longer a smart choice. Inferior camera, real world battery life, sound quality, software experience and much inferior performance. Not to mentiong op has 3.1 ufs , cg glass 6 and stereo speakers. An add free bloat free zen experience.

Op has much better performance. Mi9 didnt stand close in pubg and asphalt.
Op6t had decent camera. Not the best. But certInly better than mi9.
And chargin speed was equal on 6t and mi9 with 27w and slower on mi9 with the charger in box.
Battery backup was more on OP when watching netflix or videos alone. Thanks to oxygen os. Better ram managament. Again thanks to oxygen os. Definitely>>>>miui

If you live in Europe, there is a dedicat European Version, GM1903.
but you can buy GM1900 and flash european Oxygen OS onto it very easily.
