I am getting an O shape circle shape on my phone's screen. It is only visible when the phone is locked.
Will this be covered under warranty since it appears to be a faulty

Anyone pressing... moreThis is not true, on the unlock screen where you unlock with fingerprint, look up above your clock there is a padlock, if the padlock is open than yes anyone can access you need to lock the padlock and then you're secure

So I've had this thing about 90 days now (January) ... and i gotta say... if they keep the same quality I don't think I'm ever going to buy another brand (and yeah, that includes Samsung). I absolutely LOVE this phone. It's fast as hell... the skin they put over raw Android (OxygenOS) is flawless... the screen is just all kinds of beautiful regardless of how hard an app drives it... 256gb of storage is just stupid huge (ALL my music and all of my books and it hasn't even budged the total storage) .... and it just feels GOOD in your hands (if you can handle the huge screen) - AND it's beautiful... that blue glass they put mine in... gorgeous. And the cameras are amazing.... I don't carry my Canon anywhere lately because this thing takes better snaps than it... (the wide angle and macro lens are great) and the optical image stabilization is flawless - as is the system software that drives it (the handset at release got a lot of negative reviews for the cameras... but since then (i think i've counted at least 6 over-the-air system software updates) the thing shoots wonderfully.... every bit as good as my Canon) I love this handset!

Just for your knowledge.. there is a reason for why several models of a phone exists, mainly because of frequencies that are used in the region..
US and Thailand/Malaysia use different frequencies, and thus the US version is not compatible in Thailand/Malaysia (maybe it is, im not 100% sure, but i dont think so)
Also, "Unlocked" only means that your phone isn't locked to a certain Provider, but open to use any Provider u want.. You will need to have a compatible model with the frequencies that the country/provider uses though...

Well i brought mine in China, after a month sent it back due mainboard failure, then got i back around 3 months later because someone have to bring it back to me in another country, Oneplus costumer support is fine, Taobao is very bad in costumer support(I Brought it there). working fine in Bolivia. Using it right now. Pretty Happy with the phone but i have Hydrogen OS. No planning to flash it to Oxygen.

Purchased 7 pro in the US d... moreYou said bought in USA , that unit is designed to work in the US market , and unlocked meaning that one can use on most US service providers
You’re trying to use it outside the area ( Malaysia / Thailand ) Maine the local service providers do not operate on the same frequencies as the ones used in the US
You might want to reach to someone that probably will be able to make it work through a ( backdoor ) kind a thing

Purchased 7 pro in the US directly from oneplus. Allegedly unlocked and therefore I should have been able to use in Thailand and Malaysia - phone connected with signal but NO DATA TRANSMITTED. Same sim worked in my old phone and in others phones, but not in the oneplus. Tried 3 local sims in Thailand and also Fi. Also nothing worked in Malaysia. CS strung me along (for over a month) promising a possible return but when they admitted to being unable to solve the problem said I could not return b/c out of the return period (7 days - which I had acknowledged in the beginning b/c I had tried the phone in the US and since it worked well I assumed I wouldn't have a problem overseas)
