Anonymous, 01 Aug 2019Can someone with this unit tell me if the 90Hz display is really consuming the battery that much?I'm using the oneplus 7 pro 12gb version from more than a month the battery life is good I'm using the phone with 90htz refresh rate on automatic resolution it's consume the battery more but some time I'm put it in battery saving mode but still I'm getting a good battery life that last the hole day from 8 A.M to 10 P.M for me it's great

The camera is atrocious ! Even with the new updates it is slow to load, and there is a HUGE lag between when you hit the shutter button to when it takes the actual picture.
Need to catch a fast moving object ? Forget about it, the camera will still be focusing. Need to capture something on the fly? You will miss it because the camera is loading.
Low light photos are bad, day time has a weird colour to it.
Not what id expect for $1000

I am writing and ordering a new OnePlus 7PRO on Amazon.in. Says it will come in 2 days. Saturday. Yay! That'll be my school holiday. And my quiz competiton too. I still have an OP 7 but it lacks the cameras, 1440p screen and the 4000mAh battery. Yes!!! I have ordered it!!!

Noooo!!! My OP 7PRO fell from the 9th floor!! That was the 10+256gb variant. Why was I sooooo careless??!! Now I have to buy another one. This was the Almond colour in India. All that is left is a little shard of glass. LOL!!

Simply put the Iphone X is the greatest handset available, even now in 2019, the handset is available for the same price as this monstrosity. 6.7 inch screen is too much, also ios is much better for customisation and simplicity

No phones have 4k 120fps. 960fps is a gimmick.... moreThat's right, but 4K at 120fps is possible to do and I wasn't really serious about it. 960fps is better IMO. You're Sony device probably records at a locked ISO and bitrate. This is what my phone does, it sets the ISO to 800 (which makes the footage grainy) and the bitrate is also garbage. 4K slow motion is a stretch, but I was leaning mostly on 960fps because it's more realistic and a lot of phones already have the option to do that, so I'm just throwing that in. By the way, halfing the speed on 4K 60fps itsn't really practical... and 960fps requires a lot of RAM so it's shouldn't last long from the get-go. Now when I think about it, 2K 120fps/240fps is something that OnePlus could do.

960fps is a gimmick. On my Sony I can shoot 1080p 960fps, but it is really poor quality and doesn't last long.

-SD Card slot
-Slow motion at 4K (or a 960fps option at 1080p/720p)
-Water resistance (IP rating)
-Monochrome camera (ultrawide isn't personally great for me)
-Dual Flash
-Louder speaker
Hopefully, those features will be on the OnePlus 8/8 Pro.

serraxer, 26 Jul 2019Very scratchy. Get 2 scratch already at the back since a month of usage. Kinda sux, dont have... moreI had s8+, OnePlus 7 Pro has not that much curved display as s8+. I hated s8+, S10+ is kid size compare to OnePlus 7 pro. I still hate curved display. And it's 1 minus on my OnePlus 7 pro. But you should buy a case and don't complain on scratches. Every phone has scratches
