OnePlus announced the 7T Pro McLaren Edition last month and earlier today it went on sale in China and global markets. The device was so desired at the domestic scene that it all available stock was gone in just 60 seconds, the company reported on Weibo.

The OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition is a bit pricier than the regular OnePlus 7T Pro, but you get a fancy paint job and more RAM - 12 GB, up from 8 GB. Otherwise, it is pretty much the same phone - Snapdragon 855+, 30W Dash Charge, 6.67” screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate and a 48 MP triple camera.

The phone was already sold out in India at a flash sale on Amazon, it can be purchased with a 5G modem in the United States (though only with a T-Mobile plan) and in selected European markets where it will start shipping in three days.

"Sold out" or "Out of Stock" is the same case whether the number of units sold is either two or three,a dozen, a hundred or a few thousand in total. Instead of pulling the marketing stunt, why not provide actual number of devices sold, or atleast a...
