Anonymous, 16 May 2020How's the screen on time for the 8? Main reason I want to buy the 8 over the 7 pro is because ... moreI usually get 7 to 8hrs screen on time with my OP8 vanilla.
previously on my 7t, 5 to 6hrs screen on time.
Mix of games, browsing, netflix etc.
Aleks, 20 May 2020Go for 8 The pro just have more pixels on display and refresh rateActually, the Pro has a significantly better camera setup, and is also IP68 rated for dust / water resistance. The display is larger, the pixel density is higher. The 8 Pro also supports Fast Wireless Charging with a 30W output wireless charger, and supports reverse wireless charging. The 8 Pro is available in "Ultramarine Blue", whereas the 8 does not have that color option available. The 8 Pro also has a better loudspeaker than the 8.
Xash, 21 May 2020I would love to have the 8 Pro, but it sells at $1084 whereas the 8 is retailed at $718! It's ... moreWait for oneplus z (lite) maby we will have oneplus 8t idk
Im gona spend my many on poco f2 pro waiting 8 gb ram version
The price to high not enymore the flagship killer. We want oneplus 8T with snapdragon 865+ and 600€ without some features we never use

Anonymous, 05 May 20208 pro is overpriced for me, so 7t pro or OnePlus 8, which one I should buy?? Go for 8
The pro just have more pixels on display and refresh rate
Bought the basic 8gb / 128gb storage. So far im loving the camera and low light capabilitites. For astrophotogrophy, still yet to test. The downside is for the moment, no accessories available here in Brunei yet. I have to order from ebay (hoping no delay to current conditions). No heating up issue. System works great. I am a fan of pure android experience. Was opt for P40 but no google services n overkill price. Bought for BND988 (local price).
No Headphone jack
No Memory Card Slot
No Wireless Charging
Finger Print Not Certified
The Camera Seems Odd On Full Screen
4300mAh Not Enough, Dont Expect Working Time More Than 8 hours
Over Priced, Just Cheating Customers On The Name Of 5G
Nobody Will Buy A Chinese Product For 42,000
this phone used to be a flagship killer. now its just another overprice phone manufacturer
How's the screen on time for the 8? Main reason I want to buy the 8 over the 7 pro is because it should last longer due to its lower res display and bigger battery
Anonymous, 13 May 2020What is the touch sampling rate ?180hz for the touch sampling rate I believe
Dragos, 13 May 2020Human eye can only see a finite millions of colors. It is impossible to see 1 billion colors s... moreThe most sensible reply I've seen to this "feature". It seems OnePlus and gimmicks go hand in hand. First pop-up cameras, now this essentially useless feature.
The way I see it, they do it for bragging rights even though 99.89% of normies couldn't give a crap. But yet they still omit basic features such as wireless charging and water resistance that should be (and are), standard at that price point. Ridiculous. And they have the cheek to raise the prices.
No body? Really? Okay then, i came here because this phone can see through some plastic (and maybe cloth) the time has come guys !!!
Human eye can only see a finite millions of colors. It is impossible to see 1 billion colors so why this push for this type of display? I would rather get 16 million colors but higher PPIs than getting 1 billion colors out of which I can only distinguish 7 million or so....
The most useless change in 8Pro is that. Yeah, maybe side by side between 16 mil and 1 billion colors, you CAN notice a change. But if you're left with a 16 mil colors device, it's not like you will feel the need to go to 1 billion colors. You feel that difference if it was RAM or processor speeds, but not when it comes to display colors. I wanted to buy the 8PRO, but the more I look at it, the more I realize the 8 is the device to actually buy as the 8PRO feels more like you're "backing up" the tech from next quarter/next year.
