one plus 8 is nice phone but after 1 plus year the phone motherboard is warn out , its get crashdump mode.
The phone took to one plus service center but they unable to rectify the problem.
Th response from one plus team is not good .
The crashdrum problem occurs with one plus phone only in India

I just test to charge my oneplus 5t with oneplus 8 charger (30w charger) and it is charging faster than 20w charger. OP5T is something special device, still working perfectly fine since 2017 November. and i move back to 5t.

loodeh, 20 Feb 2022Hello, I have the same issue, but I have noticed that it sometimes works and sometimes does no... moreHello, Thanks for your reply, yes it is not a big issue, Oneplus didn't add led light & 3.5mm jack, maybe i am used to 5t, but op8 is way too ahead better if compare to 5t, the screen looks white cloudy and 5t screen looks yellowish less pixels and less brighter. Op8 is a faster than 5t. but 5t is lighter in weight and feel comfortable in the hand.

A week ago bought OnePlus 8, upgraded from OnePlus 5T, for me this phone is much faster and more attractive screen than 5T, there is a problem that notification light does not come up. Can any one help in this regard, Thanks in advance.

I know for the UK version we got an update to enable the 5g on three network. This was an android 10 update so if you're on android 11 then this won't be the problem. It's working fine here so maybe get in touch with your network provider if problem persists.

Prestige, 24 Jan 2022This phone or samsung s20 fe 5gThe galaxy s20fe has 120hz screen and better cameras. The OnePlus 8 has a more premium feel as it has a glass back ..the galaxy feels like an A series not an S series. Also the screen on the galaxy fe feels really outdated and looks washed out compared to the latest oleds. The galaxy fe is just as snappy as the OP8 in 5g Snapdragon version. The low ram doesn't seem to affect performance at present but may be an issue in the future.
Avoid the exynos version of galaxy s20 Fe as battery and performance are terrible..the one to get is the 5g version with Snapdragon 865. Battery is outstanding just as it is with the OP8. For me the OnePlus 8 gets the nod as the screen is better to look at it even though it's 90hz . Also the OnePlus 8 is easier to handle as its really slim especially when you add a bumper. The OnePlus 8 has curved screen whereas the galaxy has a flat screen. If camera has to be good then the galaxy should be your choice as the OnePlus 8 camera is below average for the price range.

OnePlus 8 has 3 years of os upgrades and 4 years security updates. OnePlus Nord has 2 years of os updates and 3 years security.
That said don't expect android 12 any time soon.

Plzz honest opinion ... moreMy cousin brought this today on 55k pkr, it's just a kit without charger and box ,the curve display in this phone looks amazing,the audio quality is amazing the snapdragon 865 processor on this it's a bang for the bucks,but when you open it's camera it's not upto the standard,I'm using Samsung A71 and it's camera is better than this phone,now it's upto you if you care about the camera if it matters the most, don't go for it,but with this price tag the phone seems a good deal.
