Ultrasonic is secure.
Its a personal preference.
Morover in Oxygen os its a two step process to unlock the phone.
In one ui 2 its one step processor. Hence making S20 finger print unlocking faster process than Oneplus 8 pro.

Its inconvenient to use compared to s20. which has super light design & slim, small body. Also the display is fatter. Making user interactions easier.

I will not even look at s20 after OP8pro launched. If I could consider some Samsung Galaxy or OP8pro, I would look at s20+ or s20ultra, but it's $950 or $1399

It's the company strategy to sell for crazy amount to blind fans. Eventually reduce price to fit in the competition. Its followed by all offline mobile companies.

With S20 for that $750 you also get AKG earphones. I'm not sure about worth of it. I assume it is around $50

Galaxy S20 12gb: $750 in best buy
One plus 8 pro 12gb: $1000
Camera, Display, performance, Battery, features are all nearly identical.
Keep in mind Galaxy s20 has a better design with smaller form factor & light weight. Also the display curve is just correct s20 unlike Oneplus 8 pro
At $750 S20 feels like best value for money after the launch of OP 8 pro.

Imagine if oneplus becomes the new iphone in the next years , it has anything that offer as same as the iphone it has the potential to be on par with it , everything is perfect except the camera department which it's not hard thing to fix just more 2 years and u will admit they the best in every aspect :)) so i'm optimistic
