Do you even know what protection IP69 would confer ? IP69 would ensure protection from total dust ingress, and protection from steam-jet cleaning.
Since you appear to want an IP69-certified phone, my only guess is you desire to steam-jet clean your phone, ensuring it is free from SARS-CoV-2.
Why wash one's phone by immersing it in a bowl of soap and water, when one can kick the s h i t of out the coronavirus by steam-jet cleaning it ? (rhetorical question)
Anonymous, 10 Apr 2020Thanks for Ur reply...!!!. This means f/2.0 is better than f/2.4... What about back cameras...???It's a mistake about 2.4 on front camera because OnePlus 8 has the same Sony 471 camera with 2.0 . So it should be the same front camera on 8 and 8 pro
Bikeman, 11 Apr 2020If this phone comes in close to $1000 it will be a no deal.
I agree!
Mid-range phones have good enough specs to perform day to day mobile tasks and won't require selling a kidney to acquire one.

Using same old 8 MP telephoto sensor which is used in low budget phones.
monsoon, 10 Apr 2020Which one front camera is good and why? Plzdo reply if you know the answer.
16MP Sony IMX471 ... moreBasically, the same image sensor. But the main difference is in the lens, the former one has an aperture of 2.4 which is smaller than the latter 2.0.
The latter 2.0 would capture more light due to the large aperture, would help in the low light conditions.
sonu, 10 Apr 2020if op8 pro put periscope camera in it then it would be a killer deal.. who the hell asked for a periscope, you literally get a better picture from zooming in after a normal photo has been taken

16MP Sony IMX471 (F/2.0, fixed focus with EIS)
16MP Sony IMX471 (F/2.4, fixed focus with EIS)
Why? Why put give it a hole punch camera? I much prefer the popup camera because it's completely hidden. I'd even prefer a teardrop camera because it's still less distracting/looks better in my opinion. I really thought that this phone would have an under-screen camera, as the technology exists, and works, with the only downsides being that the camera lens is inset more into the phone (If I remember correctly this can cause shadows to be cast on the camera with extreme lighting angles.) and the transparent OLED darkens and blurs the image a bit. But I think those cons are less of a sacrifice than obscuring part of the screen with a black circle. I really hope that this leak is either inaccurate, or the design isn't final, otherwise, if I am in the position to upgrade, I'll likely just buy another 7 pro, with expanded ram and storage, or perhaps the 5G model.
