I just purchased this phone after searching for about a month for a decent phone. I am a Huawei fan but unfortunately I had to switch because of the Google band. Here is my opinion about this phone:
1. I love how slim and how great it feels in the hand, I had to return the Blu f91 due to its bulky size
2. I noticed that the battery charges very very fast with the stock charger without any overheating so far. So this is a big success
3. The phone is super fast and smooth, very user friendly. this is extremely important as I see that lots of people pay attention to silly things and ignore the daily user experience
4. So far I took some pictures and I do like the camera it is not a perfect one but it is better than most phone in that range
5. I am not disappointed so far with this phone, it has exceeded my expectation. Even though the battery may not last all day but can you imagine you can charge it for 30 minutes to 100%. I think this is amazing and without all the overheating
namri, 02 Feb 2022did u have bluetooth, wifi and sim connections issues? No, it works fine. The Bluetooth, SIM and Wifi connections are very stable (much better than my old Samsung phone that dropped connection untill I restarted it)
YUKI93, 03 Sep 2021I'm sorry, IP68 rating and yet "not for use underwater, liquid damage is not covered... moreIt doesnt mean you can use it underwater it means if you accidentaly drop your phone into water it will be ok no phone in the hope world is water resistant if it was i would definiely buy it its water resistant not water proof theres a difference

some guy, 08 Jul 2021I had this same question but I think I figured it out. One of them is the verizon version I th... moreWrong, there is no difference between the unlocked 8T compared to the T-Mobile 8T+ 5G other than the 8T+ 5G has official IP68 and the normal 8T does not. There is no 8T 5G UW only a 8 5G UW. GSM Arena even has the specs wrong the 8T+ 5G does NOT have mmWave support.
Has a lot of problems with GPS and google maps
Sebaay, 01 Nov 2021Can anyone give me advise to buy Oneplus 8T or iphone 12 Pro Max?Well.. if you are iphone fan the 12 pro max is really cool. I use this device and it's okay too. It depends on your choice. Iphone is better in camera. But this device is flexible to tweak.
sretteL enitaL ylnO, 06 Nov 2021What is FE? Can you write it like to normal people not for geeks? FE means fan edition
I have recently bought the mobile in UAE, the battery is draining so fast at night (25 to 35%) even if I turn off Wifi and background running apps.
Can anyone give me advise to buy Oneplus 8T or iphone 12 Pro Max?
Jake, 11 Oct 2021Oneplus 5G in middle east and asia is a shit doesn't work at all, no support from oneplus... moresimple, buy a different brand for you....i dont know maybe..............AN IPHONE 13 PRO?!
dafkos85, 03 May 2021Why is better? Because is Samsung?Oneplus 5G in middle east and asia is a shit doesn't work at all, no support from oneplus, no solution until now. I regret buying oneplus.
Hands down the best Android phone in 20/21. I had the Huawei mate 20 pro prior to this phone...the Huawei was gr8 and everything but z OnePlus 8t is faster in everything...and has the best OS( oxygen OS) UI. I recommend anyone looking for a budget smartphone to buy z OnePlus 8t. If you're a music person buy a wireless headphones or buy the OnePlus qired earphones, any other won't work perfectly on the phone.
I love how fast this phone charges; compared to other phones I have used, or phones used by family/friends, this thing is orders of magnitude ahead.
It actually does charge to full in 30ish minutes. (from like 5-10%, I don't kill the battery regularly...)
The 65w charger is almost laptop strength; I have used it to charge my Surface Book 3 (left charger home when I was at work :( )
It kept my Surface Book 3 topped off when doing youtube/light gaming and it kept the computer alive for a pretty long time when running Cities Skylines considering it has a 127w charger I call that a win.
YUKI93, 03 Sep 2021I'm sorry, IP68 rating and yet "not for use underwater, liquid damage is not covered... moreDevices backed by an international standard rating of IP68 are deemed fit enough to withstand dust, dirt and sand, and are resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5m underwater for up to thirty minutes. *Based on test conditions for submersion in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes.
I'm sorry, IP68 rating and yet "not for use underwater, liquid damage is not covered under warranty"? Then what's the whole point of giving an IP68 rating in the first place if it's not for underwater use? OnePlus may as well not include it from the start.
max6f6, 31 Aug 2021Same question exactly for me too! Eventually went for the 8T because of the camera and the 12gb ramBecause of the camera of the OP8T? There is no way the Poco F3 GT has a worse camera tbh :D It's not terrible, but it's definitely nothing you'd expect in such a phone..
