One year old 8T display complaint, after scrutiny, service centre said maximum 90 days warranty can be given + if any other complaints, they will charge 1300+ service charge

Anonymous, 23 Feb 2023Not good, no update since Oct 2022Nonsense, the most recent update F62 arrived less than a month ago, and my unit got it after a week or so. If yours doesn't (carrier-locked variants especially can take ridiculously long, carriers make their changes to patches - they are very delayed), use Oxygen Updater app from Google Play Store. It downloads the official updates and then you can manually install them as local updates. I have used it many times.

After 4 years with amazing One+ 3T I got 8T, and now I have 2 years of nightmare... Anything but phone. At the beginning when wi-fi is not available anymore (leaving from home) no mobile data connectivity until restart (the first 6 months until update). Since the beginning some calls had problems to hear or to be heard (still no update to fix this). It will be the last product from one+

Should this phone worth buying in 2023? I'm using poco f2 pro so 8t have same process but it's 120hz refresh rate which poco don't and most important is update poco received only 2 years update and don't know about 8t also how's the camera of 8t? 8t is available brand new around 300$ usd is it a good price?

Artec, 23 Dec 2022Go for it. Android 13.Android 12 and 13 both make 8T absolutely fly, extremely smooth OS. Can only recommend 13. Fixes some issues 12 introduced, improves the UI and keeps the smoothness and great battery life.
11 had the "classic" look, but performance-wise it never was in the same league, not even close. Wasn't nearly as well optimized. In my experience, I have to charge my phone less often - so the battery will last longer without needing a replacement.

Anonymous, 20 Dec 2022Same for me!i had huawei 4 the past few years... love it... had a mate 20 pro since 2020...gave it to my wife... same battery since 2019...phone goes olmost 2 days on 1 charge, 1 day with heavy use.... and i torture my phones... gaming while charging and so on... now i have a p30 pro 256/8 ram... love it... best battery management ever on huawei phones

after 2 years of using this phone to its limits, I say this phone even now, is a beast and a perfect phone. specifically after this last android 13 update that all of those bugs and issues have been solved. it's fast, reliable, very fast charging, powerful, and up to the date
