Everything is in favor of 8t except for a slightly better camera. the 8t had so much updates it already made its camera a lot better but still i think se better.. and oh yes op has more and quicker updates.
i don't think theyll realesse an s21 fe in 2021. it will eat up the regular s21s sales like s20 did. and rt wont go global. i dont want to buy from people in lazada or shopee i always go for store sold im scared to buy online.

But my choices are S20 FE 4G (Snapdragon Version, and it is actually 26,490 right now) and the OP 8t (12/256, around 25k). Since I value the camera a lot I lean towards the FE. But the 8t has better display, design, haptics, offers faster charging, more ram and doubles the storage for less than price of the FE. With these pros, i just might go to the 8t but I need a solid shooter camera, and the FE takes the cake here. It is also worth mentioning that samsung (may) launch 21 FE on October 20, and also consider the OP 9rt if it becomes global, though expect both phones will be more expensive. If you consider the overall package with only "okay-ish" camera, I think 8t offers the better value (esp it has 12/256 variant, 1k cheaper than 8/128 S20 FE).

No silver 256 and no 9r in our country. Poco is the most reasonable and im a long time xiaomi user but i am pissed off with xiaomi miui battery saver it will turn the app battery saver back on even if i already set it to off. And the rotate screen of xiaomi is soooo stupid i hate it. I liked onepplus phones for a lont time but never bought one. Now 8t in our country is on sale im looking to buy one. Really torn between these phones i dont know what to buy.

In moderate light, it's miserable and loses so much saturation. I've tried GCam, and it doesn't work as well. Pixel, Samsung, iPhone, just take better overall images.

Are the cameras really that bad? Will going from a cheap pixel 4a to this be noticable? Is S20FE that much better? Is GCAM worth it and what are drawbacks. Cams are only thing that is holding me back on s20 FE vs. 8T

I heard that 8t&... moreOnePlus has better display, A50s was a mistype, those problems you said both 8T, A52s and S20 FE are prone to, it's the nature of OLED technology, that being said, 8T 120hz implementation is better, the display is simply a higher end Samsung AMOLED display with higher brightness and color accuracy.

Actually, the reason why I'm not getting a Samsung phone (A52s, S20 FE) is because of the slow One UI skin. I have a Pixel 3a just for the software, and I might get the Nord 2.

It's cheaper and has a 5000Mh battery with 90Hz Oled, speaker is not loud but good quality. iPhones are still pretty good, with clean software and excellent battery and cameras on the newest 13.

The battery life on the FE is excellent, plastic is less likely to s... moreCameras aren't so important for everyone, also you say like 8T cameras were terrible, they seem perfectly fine and acceptable for me considering the price point, 8T display, haptics, charging, dev support, sensors, ROM (for some) are all superior than S20 FE.
But I'm a heavy smartphone enthusiastic guy, I personally don't like Samsung approach on handling modding on their phones, also One UI isn't as smooth like chinese skins.

The battery life on the FE is excellent, plastic is less likely to s... moreI can buy an imported OnePlus 8T 256GB for about R$2700 on AliExpress, Moto Edge 20 is R$3599, officially, S20 FE G780G is being sold for about 2000-2600, price varies too much, you can get deals, anyway I'm investing more money on buying OP8T, I value its better display quality better than S20 FEs, also charging and design, S20 FE looks just like an Galaxy A71 with IP68 and wireless charging, its cameras are excellent, but display is of the average kind, it's a good phone, but in my hand it doesn't feel premium for me, sorry.
I value audio and Moto Edge 20 has average screen brightness on its OLED 144hz, proven by lab tests here on GSMA, also single speaker and average battery life, here in Brazil only Samsung, Motorola and Apple are widely popular and available, I had too many of those, so I prefer to try something new.

The battery life on the FE is excellent, plastic is less likely to shatter? Cameras are still important. Speakers and haptics are great. You chose 8T, good choice, but Moto Edge 20 is a great alternative with a 3x telephoto and 144Hz Oled.

Anonymous, 29 Sep 2021I want to buy this as i don't see newer models like 9r and nord reliable.. should i buy 8... moreI've been months looking for a new phone to buy, I had the same doubt as you, my options were Galaxy S20 FE, Moto G100 and OnePlus 8T, I'm a heavy user, after months of research, I opted for the OP8T, in the beginning I was tempted to buying S20 FE but then I realized it was just a mid range phone with flagship SoC and cameras everything else midrange, nothing more than that.
