Already using 8t for 1 month. At first I quite disappointed with the stock camera. Indoor image totally sucks but outdoor is awesome. However, I have installed gcam and it solved my issue with the camera
Android 11 still new. More updates to come will make 8T a great phone

I own both phones and they have the same sensor and camera. Also the 7 pro comes in a 5G variant as well. Yes the display is better on the 7 pro, but 120hz and flat design make up for that on the 8t, it's all about what you want. After all the firmware issues will be sorted on the 8T, it will be a beast. For me it is the better choice. Doesn't hurt that I got a nice deal for the 11.11 ali sale for £452. Either way you can't go wrong with either of them.

Should I buy oneplus 8t for 725$ or s20 fe 5g 613$ I am confused I see ppl saying s20 ha... moreAt this price 613$, go for the S20FE 5G. But, be careful not to be the 4G standard variant of the phone, S20FE with Exynos chipset. That one is worse, even than One Plus 8T.
The price looks to me a little low, that's why I am saying. In Czechia this phone (the S20FE 5G) cost 780EUR.
I bought the One Plus 8T, but only because I managed to find it at a good deal (550EUR). 230EUR was too big difference for me to go for the S20FE 5G.

Only the S20FE 5G comes with the SD865.
Sometimes people confuse these two and think they are one and the same phone. Which are not. In Czechia there is 130EUR price difference between them. The S20FE 5G being the more expensive one-->780EUR, compared to S20FE-->650EUR.
And is not about Europe or USA. In Europe you can find both variants of the S20FE, unlike the normal S20 which is only Exynos variant.

Hello guys. I just bought this phone with 550EUR at a discounted price. A big step from my previous phone, a Realme 6.
I will keep you guys posted, if anything will be bad with this phone.
For me this phone is perfect at that price. I am not a camera person (so I don't mind the average cameras quality on this phone). I do not care about IP rating or wireless charging.
Also, this phone was about 130EUR less expensive than the S20 FE (Exynos variant) and with about 230EUR than the S20 FE 5G (SD variant). So, it was an easy choice.

I really like The oneplus 8 design but i don't really like The bland design of The 8t. It feels like oneplus is stepping down The uniqueness of The old oneplus phones.
