OnePlus Android Firmware Updates

OnePlus is currently pushing new updates to two of its recent smartphones, the 8T and the Nord. The 8T is receiving the November security patch, while the lower-end Nord is going to have the December security level, which is a weird difference, but hey - at least you're getting new security fixes no matter which of these phones you have.

The changelog for the update going out to the OnePlus 8T also mentions an optimized experience for gesture navigation, an increased success rate for fingerprint unlocking, a newly added keyboard height adjustment, better image quality for Nightscape shots, improved overall stability of communications, as well as the addition of the OnePlus Store app for Indian units.

The update also fixes an issue that prevented photos from displaying in the Gallery for some users, and an issue which made Wi-Fi connection fail in a specific situation. The new software is rolling out to a small subset of OnePlus 8T units first, followed by a wider distribution in a few days if no show-stopping bugs are found. You're getting the update as OxygenOS 11.0.6.7 in India and North America, and OxygenOS 11.0.6.8 in Europe.

Moving on to the Nord, the same caveats about the rollout timing apply. This handset is receiving OxygenOS 10.5.10 across the world, and aside from the still current security fixes you also get a new GMS package, general bug fixes and improved stability, as well as the OnePlus Store preinstalled in India.

Hi, I am using an Indian version 8T but it's still with Oxygen OS 11.0.5.6. While attempting to update it says 'it's up to date'. Do I have to wait for update rollout in my area or am I missing something in order to get latest up...
