Peter 20 October 2020

OnePlus Android

The OnePlus 8T topped the sales charts at JD and Suning, two major online retailers in China. To put that in terms of cold, hard cash, during the first minute the phone raked in CNY 100 million, which doubled to CNY 200 million at the ten minute mark. That’s $15/€12.7 million and $30/€25.3 million, respectively.

As you can imagine, the supply of available units ran out pretty quickly. The next sale in China is scheduled for 10:00 on October 22 and chances are that the units will run out fast once again.

If you’re in Europe or North America, you can pick up an 8T today. All the online stores we checked report that they are ready to ship the phone within 24 hours, so there’s no need to rush. Besides the official OnePlus.com online store, you can also look for the 8T at your local Amazon.

Head over to our hands-on review for a detailed look at the new phone or watch the hands-on video for a quick look at what we think are OnePlus 8T’s best features.

The OnePlus Buds Z TWS earbuds are still on the way, they should be out on November 2.

Well there were limited number of devices on sale. And the sale was localized to China unlike iPhone pre-orders.
