OnePlus has revealed that the upcoming OnePlus 8T will ship with OxygenOS 11 out of the box.
OxygenOS 11 is the company's latest operating system based on Android 11 and is currently still in beta phase. The OS can be downloaded on the existing OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro devices but only if you don't mind the issues that come with unpolished new software.
The OnePlus 8T is the company's upcoming flagship device that will be officially launched on October 14 with faster internals and 65W charging. It is the successor to the OnePlus 8 launched back in April. That doesn't seem that long ago but it is in line with the company's six-month launch cycle that it has had for a few years now.
Meanwhile, OnePlus also recently confirmed that there will not be a OnePlus 8T Pro and that the OnePlus 8 Pro will remain the company flagship for 2020. This makes sense as the OnePlus 7T Pro launched last year was only marginally different from the OnePlus 7 Pro that came before it and no one wants to see a repeat of that this year.
We will likely learn more about the OxygenOS 11 roll-out for other devices during the OnePlus 8T announcement.
I wouldn't wanna buy it if it doesnt come with sd 865 + and a better camera than one plus 8
8T should come with 64MP sensor. If they come with 48 then what's the diff b/w 8T and 8 Pro. It will be a waste :(
