PaulMihai, 05 Oct 2020But if you like to change the phone every year like me then you won't regret buying the nord.Excellent. There is an advantage here for the manufacturers, now. They need not have to think about Android updates. Then, why do speak about the superiority of Nord over Samsung, on the Android updates front? Moreover, giving Android updates to devices doesn't depend on the number of variants a manufacturer produces, but depends on their capability to provide one, whether it is OnePlus or Samsung.

Sani, 04 Oct 2020It was a typo, currently i have A50 and UI is okayYour phone is still pretty new. I would say wait for the next year's nord if they make one.
Yes , Nord 765G is not able to muster 90Hz Smoothness , in One Sentence - Nord is device with Software Not Blended Properly with Hardware , Call Rec. , Signal Reception etc. Hopefully OP rectifies with updates , right now they are busy improving Front Cam. Stability , Rear Cam. with Updates they have taken it close to OP8 ( Only Main Cam ). Lets See.

The phone gets worm during charging nothing concerning and the battery for me is fine I get around 8h sot with a medium to heavy use. In my work days I get up to 10-11h Sot

But suddenly you are speaking about A51 and add that you have Nokia 8. May I know your current device and your budget for a new device. What happened to your Galaxy A50 ? Do you like One UI ?
Please dont buy this phone , so many issues with the device, overheating is the main problem..network issue mostly with Internet calls , battery is not upto the level they are committing ... Please go for other option even if you can spend some extra bucks you will get Oneplus 7t ..

First of all, I find no reason as to why you would like to switch over from Galaxy A50. Every UI has its unique set of features which differentiates them from other UIs. It is all about your liking towards a particular UI. If you say that you would like to switch over to Pixel 5, there is a valid reason because its UI is a Stock of Google. But in your case, I would suggest to stick to A50 for some more time. Moreover, you'll definitely get Android Updates for 3 years for A50 as promised by Samsung. If you feel that you have deep pockets and wish for a change, why don't you switch over to OnePlus 8 Pro, or wait for OnePlus 8T because they are better devices than Nord. For a person who loves One UI very much, will dislike all other UIs. The same understanding goes well with OxygenOS.
In my opinion the OnePlus Os is a lot better. One UI might have a bit more features( not sure) but Oxygen os is smoother and receives updates faster and for a longer time ( although I heard talks that samsung will support some phones for 3 years as well but I'm not sure what models are included)
One plus launches around 2 phones a year so it's easier to make the os optimized for those phones
On the other hand samsung launches what, 10-20 devices each year? It's impossible for them to offer the same amount of support and optimization on every device they launch.

As i never used oneplus before and currently using galaxy A50, please also let me know if the oxygenOS is better than one UI?
couldnt understand why the camera quality goes worsen when clicked with snapchat...this is the bad feature i found ..even there is a voice call recording alert ...which...can be heared both by me and the one with whome i am talking .which shoulf not be there..hoping for the new updates which might improve these ...things as soon as possible
Plz improve the battry . All SPECIFICATIONS are goods
Fingers crossed, 30 Sep 2020I have been using Nord 8/128 for a month now. It is my first Oneplus phone. OxygenOS is light ... moreHigher refresh rate will hit battery.
I face micro lags when scrolling menu drawer and recent calls menu. other than that Nord is Good..
I guess this lags will be rectified through an update..

@Subramaniam Cn -
Okay , to your last reply , I never said sAMOLED had better life then IPS LCD even in my earlier post , I said that in regards to Screen Burn In & Colour Shifts Only & also AMOLEDs will improve , the positive is superb contrast (Unmatched by IPS LCD ) & Colour Tuning ( Punchy ) for LCD Problem is Screen Bleeding. Though for Average Consumer even an LCD is good enough , but if he has AMOLED normally he would go with AMOLED ( Provided he hates the negatives)
Regarding camera numbers , they do matter , & the difference is big - 1/2" VS 1/1.73" in Sensor terms , ask any photographer , but camera processing is also equally important , hence Realme 6 has poor processing & i have not spoken of it despite 1/1.72 Sam Sensor , Only Redmi Note 9 Pro Max is close to Nord , But POCO x2 & realme 6 Pro processing is excellent , X2 Pro is also very good ) infact they give OnePlus 8 photos tough fight , I have compared Nord camera with these phones in both Stock & GCAM , 6Pro & Redmi K30 has it cons like Saturated warmer tone etc. but it is the details (Pixel Peep ) which is better 6/10 times ( 4 times its too close ) , so i stick to my Comment - Nord is a Quite Good Camera for day to day use ( The Stock app is nearly as good as GCAM & defeats GCAM in few contrast scenes also . THanks to Updates by OP team ) , if you talk of Stock App. of say Realme then the dynamic range & Colours is better in Nord then 6 Pro in most cases (6/10) ( But GCAM for 6 Pro Pairs off the advantage & also offers more details & better night photos , include ) , but then 6 Pro , X2 Pro also has telephoto , in similar price range , so I have to compare it with competition.
