even the built quality of x2pro is better
and in india the 8gb + 128 gb ufs 3.0 storage model is under rs 30k

Nord battery backup is just below average in my experience. alternative you can look into Mi note 9 pro max

Guys, I'm planning to buy this phone but before that I wanted to hear from you geeks. And, I'm not a hardcore gamer but I want the phone should have good battery life and captures good clear images.
Could you please let me know should I proceed or need to buy something else.

Really surprised by opinions below, been using the phone for a week now and really impressed with the overall performance. No Lag, No heating issues, Battery last from 1 and a half day easily with normal use. Display is quick and sharp. Camera quality is manageable.
Phone is sleek and design is great. Plastic sides not an issue as I protect my phone with cover at all times.
It's worth it given the price tag.
Switched from Note 8 and Nord is much more lighter as compared to Note 8. Don't regret switching at all.
No software bugs/ issues faced so far unlike most of the comments mentioned below.

iam using the mobile sinse 7th august
my first impression after taking the mobile verry verry bad experience
iam choosing the this mobile oneplus brand image and remaining models feed back all are well but this model was verry bad iam facing somany problems
1. display issue (verry poor iam looking mobile out side sun light display is verry poor.compared with 15 k value mobile was good
2.iam seeing some youtube or using facebook once lock the mobile background sound is playing it's verry verry bad experience
3.camera.day light condition is not bad
but some moving time pictures was very bad
4.front camera day light condition was good but night time and low light condition was verry verry verry bad bad bad and poooor quality its iam never expected onthis kind of experience its verry verry bad
5.i have .c.type earphones its best quality but using this mobile its verry bad experience
iam using the ear phones on driving its not operated and not supported for spoke to call and answer the calls.this is also verry bad
6.taking some photos once clicking the capture switch still stayble the mobile with in 2 seconds of time picture is good
but using like ither mobile's like its blurred the pictures thats also verry verry bad
finally the one plus nord its not 28ooo worthble mobile
its like 10000 worth mobile
somany problems of the pne plus nord mobile
iam expecting one plus brand image but uam suffering somany issues aits verry verry verry verry verry verry bad mobile kindly respond and resolve the issues

I have seen some really daunting videos/posts online about people having issues with the screen of this device. It seems to be an exception, not a rule, still, if you plan on buying this phone make sure you're buying it from a place where you can return it to in case these issues do happen to you

I think this is the best bang for the buck phone of the year. Unrivaled in this segment in terms of features and most importantly softwear. To those fancy pants that say it's to expensive and that they will go with Xiaomi, Realme etc. yea sure while they have better specs on paper, how they combine with the softwear and how many updates they will get. That's what you are paying for with oneplus: no bloatware, fast updates, fluid softwear with no lag and such.
