Anonymous, 21 Jul 2020Forgot K30 5G? It only misses the AMOLED.There's also OIS in the main camera (*HUGE* for low-light video and photography) and ultrawide lens in on of the selfie cameras (*HUGE* for group selfies). Furthermore, OxygenOS is much closer to stock Android (*HUGE* for some), being OnePlus mindful of getting their phones *officially* supported by high-quality ROMs such as LineageOS (while Xiaomi have been "hit and miss" in that project).
In short, the Nord has the features that are usually reserved just for *true* flagship phones, while the K30 5G is just a nice budget phone (for those who can stand MIUI).
Johnyb, 21 Jul 2020 No SD card and no telephoto cam. Not for me. No sd card slot is a bummer for me too. I think they should have included a 3.5mm Headphone jack
Anonymous, 21 Jul 2020At 25k this phone will destroy and demolish all the 20k plus Xiaomis, Oppos, Vivos and Realmes... moreNo it won't. 25k is the price for 6/64GB "placeholder" variant (and it won't be available to purchase until September), it's sole purpose is just for them to claim NORD starts below 25k, when in reality most will have to opt for 28k 8/128GB varient.
Revamped version on realme 6 pro....ofcourse with 5g support....else nothing new in here...specs of realme is better for camera and given the price difference....its a complete NO for me.
Shaurya, 21 Jul 2020Phone is complete water resistant, You can swim with it from Indian Ocean to Pacific Ocean.Haha. Not so easy. IP68 water resistance means you can keep the phone under water for "upto" 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Even, that's the maximum range and OnePlus Nord doesn't have this feature
Komer, 21 Jul 2020IMO, OnePlus should be cheaper. Galaxy A71 with the same chipset & with headphone jack &am... moreA71 comes with SD730, no 90 Hz display and no 5g connectivity. Think before you say something.
Johnyb, 21 Jul 2020 No SD card and no telephoto cam. Not for me. Only phone having 90 Hz AMOLED, warp charging, ultra wide selfies and last but not least 5G connectivity at this price. Only for me.
Kuna, 21 Jul 2020It supports 2 Sims 5G net workCurrently it supports 4G+4G or a single 5G sim. The 5G+4G support will be made available via OTA update later as mentioned on OnePlus Nord site.
Just another oversized phone with no 3.5 mm jack and boring design. There are tons of them on the market. Why one more? Probably the most boring OnePlus device ever.
Sharif Golam Rabbi, 21 Jul 2020Will This Support SD Card Slot ??? No
Rao, 21 Jul 2020Is the phone water resistantNope. Not investing in ip68 testing makes it cheaper*.
IR Blaster missing. If Ir blaster included that would have been a very good offer.
ROG 2 is available in India in second's market at 28k. Who will buy this piece of crap w/o jack? With ROG 3 & Zenfone 7 launch soon, this Nord will be forgotten soon. And Oxygen OS is overhyped. Asus' Zenui is almost similar to OxygenOS. What OP does is launches phones with half baked s/w and then provides tons of updates to correct the flaws, which seems to gullible folks like the company delivers on updates. Stupid strategy but works for ignorant folks
For 90Hz, OIS on main cam (if you're not from China OR you don't want to buy from China), lightweight phone with no usage of a case(!) and a kinda solid allrounder (with some light drawbacks) it's okay I guess.
The price at 8GB RAM is probably too high though (6GB will be 400€). It's definitely outclassed by other phones. At least it's a viable option though!
