OnePlus Nord CE5 spotted in BIS certification

The OnePlus Nord CE5 has been making the rounds in the rumor mill for some time now. Just recently, we got a full specs leak, followed by a leaked render of the device. Now, the phone (under the CPH2717 model number) has also been spotted on the BIS certification website, hinting at an upcoming release. According to the source, we can probably expect an India launch sometime in June, which is a bit later than the previously suggested May release window.

The OnePlus Nord CE5 features a flat frame and a flat back panel. According to earlier reports, it is expected to come with a 6.7-inch flat OLED display offering a 120 Hz refresh rate, powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, and equipped with a large 7,100 mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging.

On the back, the device is said to include a 50 MP main camera utilizing Sony’s Lytia LYT-600 sensor and an 8 MP ultrawide camera featuring Sony’s IMX355 sensor. For selfies, it will reportedly sport a 16 MP front camera. Additional specs may include 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, a hybrid SIM slot, an IR blaster, an in-display fingerprint reader and stereo speakers.
