OnePlus offers software support for three years from release, including two years of Android version updates and then a further year of security updates bimonthly. Samsung offers four years and Apple offers five for their respective phones, so OnePlus still has work to do.

Had this for about 2 months now and it's an awesome phone. Granted when it first came out at around £350 it didn't make much sense compared to the 'full fat' Nord which was about £370, but once OnePlus dropped the price down to £250 it made a lot more sense.

It becomes a lot of phone for the money. Smooth and fast operating, slick scrolling with the 90hz refresh rate, good storage from the box with the option to expand up to 512gb with a Mirco SD card, and Oxygen OS is easy and intuitive to use. The warp charge is unbelievable, and the battery life is excellent even in constant use.

The camera's give crisp, clear shots, with features like the portrait, slow-mo and time lapse modes easy and fun to use, and the night mode does work quite well, although the Pixel 4a does beat it hands-down on that in fairness (then again the 4a has a best-in-class processing suite for images).

Only a couple of gripes - the fingerprint scanner doesn't always register even a failed attempt at times meaning manual screen unlock is needed (but not something I find a deal-breaker), and absolutely get a case and screen protector - this thing's a fingerprint magnet, especially on the back.

But overall it's a great phone for someone who can't afford the wonga for a flagship but wants something with decent quality and works as it should straight from the box. Would definitely recommend.

kul, 23 Apr 2021LG has filed for chapter 11..that means no more updates and basically no more phones..Yeah I know. If you really care about software updates, then I guess it's not the phone for you (and that goes with all old phones).

But if you're like me who cares about everything else more than running the latest software, then I'd recommend getting it.

Z, 21 Apr 2021V50 is from LG and is a 5G phone.I'd recommend everyone to buy the LG V50. Technically, it has the best value you can get for the price right now. SD855 still beats every 700 series chipset.

Wow, I have to say this phone is actually one of the best value for the price (US 239).

Chipset is above average for what you're paying, and they actually kept the headphone jack unlike on the Nord. Everything else is acceptable for the price.

You may not recommend it, but for the majority of other people, it works fine.

fcb, 03 Apr 2021A94 or N10 which is better for display, perfomance, battery. Mostly for browsing & calls.Having owned an iphone & galaxy s1, s4, s7 edge and now on the 1+ 7t pro (McLaren edition) as my first 1+ phone. I'd say 1+ and don't look back. The Galaxy's have phenomenal tech as well, but at the end of the day you'll pay more for the 94 getting alot of rooted apps and same quality tech as the cheaper Nord. OnePlus is best of the 3 brands I've owned.

I hate this phone, waste of money! It won't make any sound when I need it to for messages or when I want a appointment to sound off. It is horrible. I would not recommend to anyone. Plus, T-Mobile is a horrible service, it drops calls and has area's where I live that they have no service. You would think with T-Mobile, Sprint and Metro PCS they would have enough coverage but nope! Buyer beware.
