Sadly for the UK, it appears from a review just published that the 4G will only work on EE, and it won't work on Vodafone, O2 or 3.
The call quality is not what it should be and volume is too low. The camera is very good but there are equal or better.
Looks like I won't be getting one.
Getting my hands on one of these bad boys 'flagship killer' would be one the most challenging and frustrating things i hope to accomplish this year.
Just wondering if this phone can be bought directly from China; say on aliexpress
Does anyone here actually understand that the USD 299/349 pricing is for US only? (Angry Mobile Nerd thinks no) Has anyone actually cared to convert the other international pricing to USD for comparison? (Angry Mobile Nerd also thinks no)
If you guys even thought (ha) to convert the prices, you'd see the 64GB version price is over USD 400 in europe, and over USD 500 in Sweden. Even in wonderful tax-free Hong Kong it's USD 386. If this phone EVER lands in India (or wherever else for that matter) I can promise you it won't be USD 349 simply converted to rupee's but instead most likely well over USD 400 as well.
Looks like no one wants to make a perfect phone...oneplus could've done it....
agrima, 28 May 2014What your not understanding is there is a 64gb model for 349.00 off contract now what take a l... moreAbsolutely no disagreement on the phone being a cool device (at least for now) ... but their sales strategy is idiotic, unprofessional and damaging to their reputation. This is something that they are not willing to understand and fix. Two months down the line when the phone is finally available without stupid games, it will be too late and outdated. G3 is here, One Prime and iPhone6 will be here soon ... Charge me more but give me the phone now
in terms of hardware.. it is equal to galazy s5 and xperia z2. it has better hardware than nexus 5 and is cheaper than all the rest... worth a shot
Piscean, 28 May 2014These guys should fire their head of marketing & sales. If you want to play games with you... moreWhat your not understanding is there is a 64gb model for 349.00 off contract now what take a look it's worthwhile. ...
richard, 28 May 2014greatest phone ever, everyone is talking rubbish, great phoneHahaha ... thanks for making me laugh dude ... I am sure many others are laughing too ... thanks :)
No microSD slot WTF?
MicroSD slot is a MUST, i don`t understand why don`t have!
These guys should fire their head of marketing & sales. If you want to play games with your customers and come up with silly schemes to get your hands on a mobile phone, then they have lost the whole idea. While others are making sure to provide their customers with latest in technology, these idiots are busy playing games and putting off any prospective buyers. Idiots.
By the time this thing sees the light of the day, it will already be too late for anyone to call it "flagship killer". Snapdragon 801 is old news already.
M.J., 24 Apr 2014Some people are getting a little bit too serious about this shit -___-
It's just a phone ..... moreI agree. Is it that bad, really?
I've never quite understood why people want to copy all their libraries to a phone, when a tablet has better battery life and a much bigger screen.
People need to stop revolving their life around a phone!
this is a joke on their website, you want to pay money for forexample a 16gb one and first someone should invite you then you can buy, what is it?
release it on amazon or ebay like other and sell your phone, where the hell should i find someone who has bought this phone to invite me
Guys, androidauthority has already reviewed the phone..
And it's impressive..
Definitely my new phone..
So much expectation but it's taking so long now, these are times each day counts! Within a year there will be 64bit available sets at close prices to the One+.
Anonymous, 24 May 2014I read that it is not going to be released in stores but only online is that correct?Yes, that's correct - it will be available online. You can find full details on the OnePlus website or their forums here: http://oneplus.net/
