OnePlus Android Rumors

OnePlus is looking to join the Android tablet market, according to a rumor coming from credible sources. The company has the patent for the name “OnePlus Pad” and now the report from Max Jambor on Twitter said the tablet's debut is scheduled for next year.

OnePlus venturing into the field of tablets is not an unexpected move - the once flagship-killer company is now a straightforward brand with devices in multiple price categories. Tapping into the slate market is the next logical step for a company that also has wearables such as smartwatches and TWS earphones.

The biggest question is whether this upcoming OnePlus Pad is going to be an entirely new device or will be a rebranded Oppo tablet. It's not impossible that we'll see the Oppo Pad with Snapdragon 870 and 8,360 mAh under a new name, but we'll keep hoping for an entirely new device.
