Anonymous, 29 Oct 2015why they used 2 year old processor 801 now in this phone.. hate to see such a good set with ol... moreBecause this phone costs 250 us dollars! It's meant to be a cheaper phone and the fact that a phone for this price can use a processor which was cutting edge only a year ago is a brilliant achievement.
this device look like the same as ZTE Nubia Z9! how it feels when OP have no ideas to make a different phone and then copy the others design?!
I am sure they nobody will buy it because only have OP name...instead have a phone with OP name on it, the "original" is ZTE Nubia Z9, NOT THIS.
All chinese brands are cop/cat's of themself...dissapointing!
SuperAndroid, 29 Oct 2015It would have been phone of the Year, had they not messed up by putting that limitation in the... moretouche!!
i was so waiting for this fone to launch, now this hybrid thing has put me off, perfect budget cellfone is a myth!!
why OnePlus...why man?? i am so dissapointed
No NFC, no Android Pay, no future proof. But thats ok. NFC is just a chip they would have added.
No Fingerprint. Thats too is ok as Fingerprint has no purpose on Android.
Rest amazingly compact mobile altogether with USB Type C, Amoled Full HD and 3 Gigs of RAM should give much better benchmarks. Crispier cam, Crisper Screen. Fastest OS.
Yes, Its the best mobile for daily driver to anyone in 2015/2016. What else to expect.
Very impressed with the design, build and screen choice. Bravo. Now for the next one, put an 820 in it and start the storage at 32GB of reasonably fast storage and that will be my next phone. I know it will cost more, I'm willing to pay more if it performs and is made well.
AnonD-19153, 29 Oct 2015Put a SD 820, Removable Battery, and a 128gb memory And i would buy it with eyes closed Why everybody is dropping their pants over removable battery? I can't understand why this should count more, then using the space for making a better phone, instead of clamps, connectors, and shit a removable battery needs. Buy an external battery that you can use for other stuff too, ffs!
Rom, 29 Oct 2015Almost perfect. It's a bit shame that the battery is rather small and that there is no resista... moreIt has an AMOLED display plus that "dark" theme, so all blacks won't light up, which helps a lot in battery life. Oh, and they said that the invite system will end after a month, and it will be sold locally in stores.
It would have been phone of the Year, had they not messed up by putting that limitation in the sim tray ... either dual sim or one sim + memory card .
At least they should had put up a 32 gigs variant .
why they used 2 year old processor 801 now in this phone.. hate to see such a good set with old processor..808 or 810 should have been used.
Put a SD 820, Removable Battery, and a 128gb memory
And i would buy it with eyes closed
Are you kiddin me? It's a demn Nubia Z9 mini ripoff... Camera Sucks: no OIS, no Laser focus... Outdated SD 801, Laaaame 2500 battery won't last a day, no USB C, and no fingerprint.... It's a poop made of One plus One's leftovers....
Oneplus 2 is the flagship killer and this one is the wallet killer due to the Specs vs Price....
Almost perfect. It's a bit shame that the battery is rather small and that there is no resistance to water or dust, but overall it's an era where the phones are getting bigger so this is a welcome change. Also the invitation method is kind of ridiculous, they could have so much profit if it's wide available.
If any OnePlus mobile comes with top notch CPU (say SD820 or Helio X20 or Kirin 950) and GPU (Adreno 520 or Mali-880) at lower price of around 30,000 INR... and mobiles will be offered without invites... then only OnePlus will sustain in market. Else Moto familiy is already swiping the market like anything.
