Does anyone know when in the hell will oneplus give the looooong promise marshmallow update for the oneplus x?
AnonD-514838, 08 Jul 2016quite fragile....i had a small drop from 1 and half feet....and it developed a crack....very ... moreUse the protective case for the phone and I think you just can't trust a Chinese companies when it comes to after sales service..
Anonymous, 07 Jul 2016how is the durabilty of the glass on the back..1 fall and its over???quite fragile....i had a small drop from 1 and half feet....and it developed a crack....very small crack...only i can notice and it bothers me a lot.....been trying to get it fixed for 3 weeks now....no luck..the company also wont help....
AnonD-514838, 06 Jul 2016among the three..oneplus x is a better choice. fast processor. little bit of heating, nothing ... moreI agree, i found it to be the best bang for your buck.
Also, you can easily install Marshmallow with CyanogenMod 13... bunch of how to guides to get it done.... if OOS3 decides to never come out for this under-1-year phone... would be a shame...
Anyway, my experience and thoughts of the phone are as follows:
The size is perfect, screen is gorgeous, phone feels/looks premium, runs superbly well, no issues with call quality or signal (coverage will vary in your area), has a microsd slot via its dual sim tray (sim2 allows microsd installation), camera is very good in bright light (not too bad in low light)... for just 300$ ... can't complain.
oh yea, has FM radio, which overall works pretty good, except for one station in my area... 95.9, not sure if it's the phone's FM receiver, but volume fluctuates up and down constantly, making the listening experience.. non-existent! sad... cause it's the main station i listen too, and thus makes the FM receiver useless for me. oh well.
storage is ok, 16gb is low, but QUICK! (approx. 200MB/s read speeds) i am greatful they included a microsd slot which allows us to have the photos/videos we take saved onto there... Apps can be moved to that storage as well.
the read/write speed of the microsd are quite... on the low end (slow end?)... i found it to not even be capable of reaching 30MB/s read and top out at approx. 20MB/s on the write.... even though i have a card that should reach 80MB/s+ read speeds .... could it be a driver issue? maybe hardware? *shrugs*
not a deal breaker, but other phones, with same card, perform much closer to rated specs.
battery is not too bad and has been consistent for me. i get roughly 1hr25min (+/- 10min) screen on time for every 30% battery drain. so theoretically i should get about 4.25-5hours screen on time before my battery forces the phone off.
overall phone is great, just wish the company would push their devs to update this phone quicker to fix bugs and performance issues that can occur... If the don't update this phone, there will be a lot of unhappy angry opx users which will likely cause them to lose a shit ton of potential new customers... all this if they do decide to neglecting us! hope not!
looks like oneplus is going to stop support for the oneplus x anytime from today due to which oneplus has discontinued the oneplus x in usa..which is really frustrating..i bought the opx 9 days ago and now this!!! starting to regreat for not going for the nexus 5x which was priced really low in my country..for those who are interested in getting the oneplus x please reconsider your choice donnt go for bullshit like oneplus..eve xiaomi is better
[deleted post]among the three..oneplus x is a better choice. fast processor. little bit of heating, nothing crazy. gorgeous screen. but good luck if you crack the screen or if there is a manufac defect.
another low point is, marshmallow is uncertain or quite delayed. might be the last update if it happens. few other small bugs in the oxygen OS. lastly, its a 32 bit processor, not sure how future proof that will be.
another suggestion will be to go for nexus 5x. timely updates and decent phone.
[deleted post]Based on you up observation I will recommend the oneplus x because I'm using it and in my opinion about this phone is that it a great phone for mainly because I like compact phone yes it does heat up a bit no serious heating at all, the camera is great in lighting conditions average in lowlights situation and gaming is good.. Battery have 3 hours and 30 minutes of on screen time don't go for the BLU or htc if you don't prefer the oneplus x... I suggest you to wait for the zenfone 3 it will be the best choice if you like the oneplus.
roshan, 02 Jul 2016One plus x and lenovo vibe x3..which one z d best one ??Too very different phones you are comparing, you should compare xiaomi redmi note 3 or Meizu m3 note with the X3

Anonymous, 29 Jun 2016can anyone tell me about the camera performance ofthis device Decent camera
oneplus only have 4 smartphone but to give the oneplus x mashmallow 6.0 update is taking longer than samsung's smartphones which is a shame ..i need the update because the oneplus x i'm using is having some ram management issue device feel more like 2gb ram than 3gb and the batery life is close to below average and sometime apps like facebook always freeze for no reason..oneplus please step up your game.
