I'm planning to buy an android phone under Rs.15k. ... morebased on your opinion i strongly suggest you to go for the huawei honor 7 ..i am a opx user and to be honest this phone camera a average best ..heats up a lot most of the time ..but battery is the biggest problem with this device but its design is the best in the mid range in my opinion and lastly check out the nexus 5x which is getting cheaper day by day which is the best choice between it and the honor 7..good luck;)

Guys,
Please help me make a decision. I'm planning to buy an android phone under Rs.15k.
I had narrowed down on 4 options:
OnePlus X / Moto G4 Plus / Moto G4 / Moto G Turbo
I was very much inclined towards OPX after going through various reviews except for the official OPX forums. Of late when i checked there, I see a lot of hue and cry there now of the current owners of OPX complaining about lack of support for OPX compared to OP2 and no sign of MM. Now am in serious confusion.
My priorities:
1. Preferably a 5" phone, [worst case due to other compelling reasons i can go for 5.5"]
2. 1080p display
3. Would need MicroSD slot.
4. Excellent Camera performance. [ I know OPX takes a hit here]
2. Main usage pattern would be for lot of video playback, net browsing & very very occasional gaming.
I had seriously considered the following:
1. Redmi Note 3 - Hated MIUI & 5.5"
2. Lenovo Vibe X3 - Bit Bulky - Read lot of heating issues [ I had similar opinions shared on
Moto G4 plus too]

Nonsense. I am using this phone for the past 8 months, no issues at all even once. Excellent phone.

OPX......discontinued.
Had to replace my screen. Service Ctr says no spares available. Not even sim slots. Wont be restocking them.
Now stuck with a phone, few months old. No spares, cannot be repaired, no software updates.
Paid for additional 2nd year warranty and accidental damage. All of no use. Company is saying no spares.

AnonD-514838, 25 Jul 2016yes......buy a new phone actually it only heated in the first two weeks..then after an increm... morecrappy phone?? are you serious i am happy with my opx despite some heating issue which is not very hot as the sd810 devices..this phone is a great looker above average camera good performance derspite 32bit chipset the 3gb ram helps a lot in switching apps and smooth video playback..its not the best budget phone but it is a very good budget device and yes it matters to me.

actually it only heated in the first two weeks..then after an incremental software update the heating reduced considerably
but still a crappy phone
RAM does not matter much...i got a HTC one M8 with the same processor but 2GB ram and its much more snappier

Anonymous, 24 Jul 2016Please please please don't go this phone even if you getting this for 7K, I have purchased thi... moremost of the things you just said are not true..my onepus x is running smooth ,camera is above average and you are talking nonsense that a old samsung crap can beat it!! android 6.0 is on the way but yes its late but its not a nexus device, the oneplus x is one of the best budget phone in the world right now ..and for your info its a BUDGET smartphone soo there will be some cost cutting ..you should just use your country unknow smartphone brand micromax sh!t

Please please please don't go this phone even if you getting this for 7K, I have purchased this one seeing the user reviews on amazon. Now after a couple of I just feel like I have wasted my 15K for nothing. Its just a complete crap, good for nothing phone (except the design, and I don't think it deserves a 15K price tag only for design).
On paper this phone have 3GB ram, Snapdragon 801 processor (2.3 Ghz), but performance wise it cheaper than MediaTek processor (I have compared the performance (NFS most wanted) with a Micromax device, which runs smoother on micromax device). Phone gets hanged up for 10-15secs when you are switching from 2G/3G (haven't seen this issue on any other phones).
Oxygen OS is a complete package of bugs, its too laggy. Funniest part is that the phone is still running on Lollipop, Oneplus as a brand have only 4 phones in the market, still if they can't provide regular updates for their devices means its a complete failure. They havent even provided a timeframe for the update. As of now the OS is a complete package of bugs (even on contacts display), too laggy.
Best thing of this phone you don't have a camera, the one provided with this one can't even be compared to the one Samsung S duos (I have compared the pictures, s duos gives better pictures than one plus x).
Sound doesn't seems good, you wont be able hear the rings when you are in a crowd, even the 3.5 jack doesn't gives a satisfactory output.
About the display, when you are comparing the same with other AMLOED displays, the one provided on this phone is below par. Is does have a color shade (whites doesn't feels like the exact color when comparing to other phones), you can easily notice frame drops when playing games (even when playing super cricket 2).
Overall its just a waste of money. Now its up to you...

The camera is better than the redmi note 2, but i don't have enough balls to gamble if the camera is better than redmi note 3. The shutter speed is fast,really. Looks like i could take a lots of candid photos of my friends lol. Ok,just grab the oneplus x,trust me
