It might happen than google playstore stops working after an update. This is due to clash between google plus and playstore. No need to format or factory reset.
Solution:
Go to settings of applications: disable google plus.
Restart
Playstore will work normal

One plus x is a Very good phone.
Defects are
1. If Google play store does not working., we'll have restore factory reset. There is nothing other go.
2. U can't transfer any type of file from phone memory to SD card android vice versa. This is another great lacuna in this phone.

And if I encountered the G+ or google play problems. So I should uninstall it right? If so, can I redownload G+ again and no casualties anymore? I need fast reply plz thx

Raj, 28 Nov 2016I am using One Plus X since Jan 2016 and was happy with the device but last two weeks post sof... moreI know exactly how to fix the Play Store issue but you may not like it if you root your device and install root File Explorer you should be able to find a video on it very easy you go in there going to host files and in one of the files you add a hashtag that's all and it fixes the problem indefinitely I hope I helped and if you need root support just contact me

As the most powerful phone I've ever owned I can't complain... much! My biggest gripe is it seems to need regular reboots every few days or else it gets glitchy. The speaker just sucks but i can deal with that. The camera app can crash if left alone too long. No image burn-in as yet, been careful about that. Otherwise, its a great phone

Honestly i dont know what everyone is talking about with the problems with the phone. ive used it for roughly a week. its an amazing phone. runs games in 1080p perfectly. display is nothing short of beautifully sharp. great battery life. and all for 200 dollars? i mean it may lack a finger print scanner or android pay. but i dont use any of that. its perfect for the average user. a must buy

BEWARE: the after sales support is rubbish.
My OPX died all of a sudden in November* and the best oneplus can do is to offer to do a "remote session" whereby you have to install a set of files onto your computer (PC compatibility only) and a "Level 2 specialist" will attempt to make the dead phone "undead". Meanwhile, I've emailed my country's local support service (Singapore) and they have never responded. And because my phone is more than 15 days old, they cannot give me a replacement even though I have not misused my sub-1year old OPX.
I'm currently trying to talk to them on their chat support and they're floundering about trying to recheck my 'ticket number', rechecking my 'ticket number', making up crap that excludes an actual solution to my problem.
Sorry OnePlus, you have just lost a would-be loyal customer and I will not hesitate to tell other people about the way you treat your customers.
