i have oppo a3s, it runs better than this. not all A series are bad though. but i still dont recommend them if you want to game on it and doing intensive tasks.

This phone is a horrible sack of sh*t. The display is garbage, camera is garbage, The audio output through the headphone jack is garbage, performance is garbage. Only reason i am using this phone is because I cant buy a new phone. The momemnt I will I would smash this with a hammer. This was my first oppo phone and safe to say the last one.

Hello, fellows!
I would like to clear up some questions and waits that people have turned over to GSMArena for. I have had the phone in question (OPPO A1K ) for over two years now ( July 2020 - October 2022)
· First, and formost. I saw someone who had either statemented, or put a question saying "Can't wait for Android 11". And that is the first thing I would like to cover; When you sign up for this heck ride You have to put up with Android 9.
· Still Dwelling on point one, most ROMS do not support the OPPO A1K as trust me I have tried, and now formating it - annoyingly limits where you can go outside of OPPO. Heck ride, I know!
· Speaker failure -- In this one I don't honestly know who to blame because it is bought from a carrier. This one started showing up after the warranty had already ended, and at first I thought that It was mostly due to apps but it appeared to be a problem with the phone itself. Total Heck Ride!!!
· Camera ain't really that bad of a deal, if you are the normal user who only takes a picture once in a while, or using filters in Snapchat, you will not feel it!
· Like everyone in this comment section, which I should have read before I had started using this phone, I am stuck with a phone that is mostly not usable, cause the speakers don't work. Kinda degraded battery life. So now, I just have a kindle.
⭐ 1/ 10 : I am not going back to OPPO. I am at Samsung, right now and I am happy as happy could be,

The phone lags every time and always complaining about storage. I've deleted nearly everything on the phone but still complaining. There's no easy way to clear apps cache except you open them one by one to clear and some app cache would've occupied the whole storage space (depending on how often you use the app(s)) without any notification.
Thinking about using the phone for gaming or other high tasks, forget about it. The phone will frustrate the hell out of you; that's if it opens.
When I read the phone doesn't have fingerprint sensor but face unlock, I told myself its manageable but I'm proud to tell you that it's not. To register your face is a problem, unlocking the phone is a question of whether the feature is working or not but merely looking at the phone to check the time, boom! it works.
The camera is quite okay.
The battery is pretty good.
Honestly, I will not recommend this phone except if all you want to use the phoen for is to call, send messages, take pictures and nothing else serious.

bro its stressing too much my old nokia phone with 1gb ram updated from android 8 to 10 and can multitask better than this also same gaming performance with half price.
this phonne lagging most of the time and audio glitching in youtube with watching videos also struggle too much when it is 1080p
also google chrome always crash when i try to select text or click on any button (sometimes)
cons: very poor performance and glitches due to hardware and software issues,
selfie unlock camera i didnt trust at all (when i want to unlock it it say error, when i want to see time it unlock (this phone is stressing too much and sometimes make mee too mag thats why i smash it in the rubbish yesterday) also why recent app keep using my camera (i know after installing permission security app)
pros: poor durability plastic scratches even inside the original case it scratches but it resist many drops specially in public 😂
conclusion: if you planning to buy this phone go to hell or get a job

agreed that default camera is lacking... but in software, download opencamera or anything with full access to the hardware and it's great for this price range

I've been using this phone for 2.5 years. everything is working properly. Of course the storage is bad b coz its 2/32 phone and the camera is bad but its launch at 2019 and it's a cheap phone. So that's worth the price when i buy it (at 2019). The performance of this phone of course terrible What can you expect from a 100 dollar phone? If you want buy a phone for gaming, buy newest Xiaomi entry level instead.

Come on oppo. Just give a freaking software update. no software updates since it's released just security patches most of the other manufacturer devices released in 2019 had updates to android 11
